This is our new favorite restaurant in North Beach. The waitstaff are just fantastic, especially the maitre d'...he's hilarious. The food is excellent...so flavorful. They also have their own wine label. Having never been to Italy, this what I imagine authentic Italian cuisine to be. And compared to other restaurants in San Francisco, its not expensive. One tip...and this goes for any restaurant...try going out on an "off" night, you'll get more attention and the atmostphere is more relaxed.
P.S. They also run the Purple Onion comedy club downstairs.
