Nothing accentuates a fine meal better than smiling attentive waitstaff. I was starving when I got there and the waitress brought me some bread to snack on right away. I hate the gnawing stomach feeling while you anxiously wait for your food. Great place. more

Great food 8/8/2011

Ordered steak frites and was delighfully surprised. Steak cookd perfectly and the fries were some of the best I have ever eaten outside of France (where they really know how to fry them). wonderful crisp fries. 5 for the food. more

good selection of the menu 8/5/2011

Right on Main street with outdoor and indoor dining. The menu is varied with a good selection of small plates, nice brunch and lunch menu, a good wine list with special prices on Mondays. The indoor ambience is especially inviting, and they offer a full bar. The wait staff is particularly knowledgable and helpful in menu selection. I enjoyed both a week night dinner and Sunday brunch. more

Service was great and attentive 8/4/2011

My wife an I went to Cafe Felix Saturday evening only because we had a clipper coupon for buy and entree receive and entree for free. Our last experience was disappointing to say the least because the food and service contradicted the atmosphere and price. This time was much different. My wife had the lobster mac and cheese which she really enjoyed, and I had the scallops which were seared to perfection. The service was anticipatory, and attentive. We never had to ask for one thing, because she was always one step ahead of us. If not for the clipper coupon we would not have returned, but now I am happy to say that we look forward to our next visit and hope for the same excellent food, service, and atmosphere. more

Cafe Felix seems to be taking new directions and its definitely showing. The new management is extremely friendly and helpful. The fries and drinks here are amazing. The food is also great. This restaurant is definitely worth a go !! more

I've been going to this place for a number of years, its simply awesome. The menu has a huge variety of creations varying from stuffed chicken, short rib, escargo, and many more delicious items. They have a huge variety of drinks, my personal favorite being strawberry italian soda. The management is excellent, i've had no problems or complaints with the service. Also the place is well kept very clean, and plays nice music to mellow the mood. more

Favorite home town restaurants 7/29/2011

I have lived in Ann Arbor for years and Cafe Felix is one of my favorite home town restaurants. There are so many things that i like about the place that it is hard to know where to begin. I'll start with the staff. Although I do not know the staff by name, every time I go there they make me feel at home. They are very helpful and make great suggestions for whatever food i may like.The food itself is the best part of Cafe Felix's appeal. It is consistently satisfying and always filling. You definitely get what you pay for, and i have never left disappointed. A quick suggestion for those who might want to stop by, come during a sunny day and sit outside, it's always a fun time. more

My experience was just amazing the staff were so friendly and very clean. The food was good one of my favorite parts about it was that they had such a big variety of drinks and the outside seating is so refreshing when its nice outside.. Sad thing is I live so far away now cant wait till my next visit. more

I thought this place was awesome! Really friendly people on the inside of the place. A very comfortable atmosphere and a cool setting. I've gone there a lot with friends and family members. Good service and good everything. I recommend this place to anyone who is considering to go there! more

The staff is friendly, and they don't mind if you sit for a while (just leave a nice tip!). Lunch consists of light items like croissants, baguettes, and salads (the baguettes, which are usually very fresh, were the only bread I could eat coming back from France--even good grocery store baked bread tasted like cardboard). Dinner has a totally different concept--they serve small plates tapas-style. You'll want at least two. The food is all very high quality, and definitely worth having once in a while--now that I don't live in Ann Arbor, I stop in for lunch or coffee almost every time I visit. more

Don't order the crepes! 8/18/2005

We came looking for good crepes in Ann Arbor after having had some AMAZING nutella-filled ones in Las Vegas recently. We were severely dissappointed with our findings at Cafe Felix. My husband and I were each charged 5.99 for crepes with nutella, when a regular crepe (with butter and jam) costs only 2.99. Seriously, there was about 25 cents worth of nutella on each and the crepes were not warm or big--I felt like I was just eating sad, thin pancakes. Just don't order crepes here, please. Other stuff looked pretty good, but this was THE saddest dessert we've ever had and it cost 20 bucks with 2 small cappuccinos. Pros: location Cons: crepes more

Beautiful and Classy 12/3/2002

I LOVE Cafe Felix. The best part about it is that it's so multifaceted. It's a great place to grab coffee before work or have breakfast and read the paper, but it's also a classy spot for a light lunch and the smoking section in the back is a good place to study or read. In the evening, you can order tapas and have a few drinks (there's a full bar) or enjoy a cup of coffee after dinner or a show, and there's live jazz on Friday nights.
