Not so good 1/23/2008

I had I dish I don't even want to remember the name of. The salsa reminded me more of ketchup, the food is more southwestern than mexican, the chicken was rather bland, tasted as if it we're boiled. The service just isn't what it used to be, I'm asuming it's because of the new management, without the service that it use to have, the cafe has really dissappointed me. more

I recently moved to North Salt Lake and a friend told me about cafe Alicia. My wife and I didn't relieze that there was a restaurant in bountiful that had a full bar. There Margaritas and Gray goose martini's were awsome. The waitress reccomended the prime rib and the Alicia tamales. My wife had the tamales and I the prime rib. Both were delishous. I would recommend this Alicia's to anyone. There menu is vast. Pros: Great food and service, family owned more

Not compelling 8/22/2003

The food is hit or miss...inconsistent. The service is very slow. Forget about extra sour cream because it is $1.00 for 1 Tablespoon. The salsa is bland and reminiscent of an LDS Relief Society canning project. Also, the lights are way too dim. The mid-80s decor needs an update, too. Mexican Food very bland 7/22/2003

While reviewers have suggested that this is the place for value and flavor I have to disagree. The chicken fajitas were very bland. The salsa was so so. And if you want extra sour cream the cost is $1.00 and 2 extra tortillas were $1.50. No where on the menu does it indicate that the items were extra. Please notify the customer in advance in the future. All in all the food was mediocre and the ambiance is far from pleasing. Pros: parking, near freeway Cons: food portions, flavor more

My friends and I had lunch @ Cafe' Alicia and what I liked best about this restaurant is I had the Alicia philly roast beef sandwich, my friends had a halibut louie salad and Sue ordered a prime enchilada. This is one place that we can all agree on. My friends and I always enjoy the food and the servers at Alicia's. Pros: variety, service, atmosphere more

Beats all ohters hands down! 6/2/2002

I am so glad there is a web site like Citysearch that people can go to that has review from customers! I neded to pick a place for my wedding dinner and saw the favorable reviews Cafe Alicia received. 26 of us went this last sat. We were all very please to find out that the reviews of this restaurant were true. I live in salt lake and absolutly loved it. They have beautiful local art work inside, the service and food were excellent. My wife and I will frequent this restaurant. A great experience. Still my favorite after all these years! 5/27/2002

Alicia's has always been my favorite restaurant in or outside of Bountiful since they opened. When my friends or relatives come to town, this is where we always go. I don't have to worry about anything. We always receive good service and excellent food. I would reccomend Alicia's to anyone. Pros: great variety, always fresh, new ambience Cons: only one more
