The atmosphere at The Old Spaghetti Factory is great, but the food is just ok. I have been there twice, and both times I was not impressed with my meal. You get what you pay for...

Simply The Best 11/8/2002

The Old Spaghetti Factory Has been A Favorite Of Our Family's for over a decade now. My husband and I had one of our first dates their. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is even better. You can even have your birthday party there as I did too many years ago to count. Guys if you want romantic atmosphere and you don't have a lot of money but still want a wonderful evening this is the place to go. There is a man that sits outside of the resturant and will sing you a song for a nice tip. Pros: ATMOSPHERE, PRICE, SERVICE more

Bad 11/2/2002

Below average food for average to above average prices. Tacky ambience. Decent service. more

Great, but Waning 9/26/2002

When I came to Nashville in '98, meals were suprisingly cheap and delicious. Prices have gone up and the quality doesn't seem to be as good - but I still go because of the atmosphere and decent Italian food. Pros: roomy, ample amounts, free spumoni Cons: long wait, poor service more

Greatest Food Ever 8/16/2002

This was the best food I have ever eaten. The rooms are beautiful. Even the outside is wonderful. Service was very quick and friendly. The bathrooms were even neat and clean. Place was so clean you could eat off the floor. Pros: looks, service, FOOD more

just fun! 8/15/2002

There's a reason Spaghetti Factory has long waits and is one of the few restaurants to hang in there for the long haul downtown. The food is good, but not the best Italian one can find. It's the great decor, the friendly staff, and the fun atmosphere. Plus, the prices are LOW and it may be the most kid-friendly restaurant in town. Pros: inexpensive, atmosphere Cons: crowded, long waits, parking more

Old is Good 8/7/2002

This restaurant is an excellent spot to stop if your in the downtown area during lunch hour. My favorite is the lasagna, but let me tell you, there are plenty of other yummy goodies all for the tasting. You are guaranteed to come out of the factory full and with a smile of satisfaction across your face. Your stomach and mouth will thank you. It's also a great place for group lunches. more

lively 8/6/2002

Its the most lively palce and it vibrates with life...the best palce to go to liven up a bad day. Pros: Lively, good service, nice food Cons: avoide weekends, parking, que more

ambience galore 7/28/2002

the first time my husband and i ate at the old spaghetti factory was on our honeymoon. we could not believe the whimsical decor and the affordable, delicious food. fourteen years and two kids later, we revisited the restaurant and found it still to be great. the kids loved sitting in beds to eat and my husband loved the prices. more

great food 7/17/2002

Editorial
  • In Short
Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.
