This place is such a wonder. Wonderful coffee and even the staff are great to talk to. I love this place because it is so easy to go too, just a walk away from work. more

Good coffee bar 11/12/2009

Very small, hip coffee bar / diner. Nice place to meet for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat especially at random times. Feels like it should be on a street in NYC. Pros: Decent breakfast and good coffee more

Consistantly Fantastic breakfast! 9/28/2008

Located on Central Expressway AND now on Lemmon this is our favorite breakfast location. They have Fresh chicken and trukey brest grilled with chiote salad, egg white or non white, homemade breads and coffe that will make your toes curl if you want. I highly reccommend this location and the new location on lemmon when you are looking for a amazng breakfast or a fantastic salad. Pros: Great Breakfast location more

Consistenly disappointing 1/19/2008

I have revisited this restaurant several times in hopes that it will live up to the reviews on this site. While I appreciate the ""indie attitude"" and creative menu, the service is consistently lackluster. Today's visit required more than 20 minutes to get the bill, after at least three employees, including the owner, saw me holding my credit card. Food quality was good, but did not knock my socks off, and the place is just not clean -- it took one of the staff at least an hour to mop a 10 foot area of floor and another never picked up salt & pepper shakers when cleaning the tables. I am a proponent of supporting independent establishments, but find that this restaurant shares many of the worst qualities with restaurant that inspired it -- Cafe Brazil. Pros: 24-hours, interesting menu Cons: service, cleanliness, attention to detail more

nice waitstaff, good breakfast 6/30/2007

I came here when it first opened with a few friends late night. It took a while to find a parking space but also it looked unsafe to park in that area. The menu features a lot of low fat dishes for the health conscious and most common break fast diner en trees. The variety of coffee is amazing and very good. I have to take two stars away because the chocolate cake I had tasted OLD and DRY like it was left out for days. Overall, it's a very charming little diner. It can be noisy since it's so small. more

A remarkable little restaurant--don't miss this!! 6/21/2007

We visit Dallas several times a year and always make time for a couple of meals at Buzzbrews. You might accidentally drive by it the first time you go since it is located in front of a small motel, but after you eat one meal here you'll never miss the turn again! The service is consistent, wait staff super friendly and service prompt. The atmosphere is very eclectic and hip with a wide variety of retro rock music. The 24-hour restaurant is diner-sized but the variety of items and quality of food is amazing. From the numerous vegetarian items to steak and eggs, there is something for everyone. Buzzbrews has a HUGE coffee menu, fruit smoothies, decadent desserts from a well-known Dallas pastry chef, wireless internet...what are you waiting for? We have yet to be disappointed in a meal here! This restaurant earned a well-deserved ""Best Breakfast in Dallas"" award in 2006--try it out any time of day and see why. Pros: GREAT food, service and atmosphere!! 24 hours. Cons: Often crowded during breakfast/lunch hour more

Small but worth it 4/27/2007

My boyfriend and I are always looking for late night eateries. We stumbled upon this place late one night after visiting a friend. The food was delicious and there was a vast amount of healthy choices. The Marbles which are garlic roasted potatoes were very unique and tasty. My boyfriend had the create your own omelette and was not disappointed with his choices. We have only eaten there once but plan to make the trip there again soon and bring friends. Pros: Has Healthy vegetarian choices Cons: Too far from where I live more

Great healthy food 8/15/2006

I live right behind Buzzbrews and cannot stop eating there! It is sooo good. Everything from the Stuffed Chicken Empanada to the Banana Nut Pancakes is to die for. Plus, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Similar to Cafe Brazil, but much better tasting food, nicer service, and a cleaner environment! more

greatest breakfast 24 hours 6/27/2006

To get a BUZZ or not to get a BUZZ?? That is the question. I vote to get a BUZZ at BUZZBREWS KITCHEN, the coolest concept I`ve seen with the best food and coffee selections around. The menu is so fresh and healthy. With all the choices available, you can choose to be as bad or as good as your heart desires (or can stand). BuzzBrews is open 24 hours/7 days a week and is located on the southeast corner of Fitzhugh and North Central (in the Best Western parking lot). It is an amzing find and soon on its way to becoming another star concept that was born in Dallas, Texas and will quickly Buzz it`s way to stardom. I love the communal seating, (although Dallas probably isn`t ready for it yet) and the fact that tax is included in the menu price, what you see is what you get!!! How do you you like that ""Uncle Sam""? In summary BUZZBREWS is the new place to see and be seen. Welcome back to the future and can't wait to meet you there, who knows I may be sittting next to you!! Pros: Great food and cool atmosphere. Cons: Mornings are crowded due to the small venue. Not enough locations. more
