Bull Restoration

Before meeting with Sean we'd received estimates from a couple of other contractors that seemed very extortionate for what we wanted to accomplish. Plus one contractor estimated we'd be without a kitchen for a couple of weeks. In desperation I cast around the Web one last time looking for alternatives and happened upon the Bull Restoration website. I liked what I saw. When Sean came out to meet us he brought a couple of refinished cabinet doors with him so we could see exactly what the colors would look like. He let us keep them as we were having difficulty making a choice. Then we changed our minds completely and decided to reface instead of refinish. I thought that might be out of the question monetarily but was really happy with Sean's estimate. I also decided on some little touches to make the kitchen look more custom such as drawers by the side of the cooker, hidden hinges, crown molding top and bottom, an updated island and glass front cabinets. Once again the sticker price wasn't a shock like the other contractors. Sean also felt confident that he could build us a new cabinet to replace an old built-in desk, and some custom cabinetry to close in some unsightly corner areas. All in all the work at our house took less than two days. And it looks amazing. Sean was so easy to work with, and the results speak for themselves. Bull Restoration recently completed cabinet work for our kitchen remodel. Their quote was very concise and to the point. They provided a schedule and performed the work exactly as scheduled. The crew was very professional and did fantastic work. After the work was completed, the work area was cleaned.After they had left you could not tell anyone had performed the glazing and trim work. We absolutely love what Bull Restoration has done to our kitchen cabinets!! Ours were installed when we built the house 12 years ago; they were a maple-- door and drawer front with the typical particle board boxes etc. Bull Restoration refinished them in a creamy white. They look fantastic especially with the new countertops! Our kitchen was only ten years old but the cabinets were never finished well and never looked very custom. Sean came in, did a quick quote, made some great recommendations and we've never regretted moving forward. They did an excellent job and more than met our expetations. They have this process down to a science and are in and out very quickly. No major mess like I was expecting. Our kitchen definitely looks custom and for 1/2 the price we got on refacing them from Home Depot. Would highly recommend and will use them again. more

Sean refinished our oak cabinets over a year ago now, and I am just getting time to write this glowing review. Sean and his team just finished refinishing our kitchen cabinets and the results are amazing. They look like brand new cabinets instead of 23 year old outdated ones. They are absolutely beautiful and I love the results. I read all the reviews before calling Sean and got more excited as I saw one after another rave about the results. I have to admit that I had doubts. I was sure that my kitchen would be the one that didn't turn out well. I'm happy to say that I was wrong. My kitchen exceeds my expectations. Sean has a great artistic sense as well. He made a few simple suggestions that ended up turning the kitchen from great to fabulous. Adding a piece of trim to the lower edge of the cabinets made a huge difference. Adding a raised panel to the back of our island makes it look beautiful no matter which door you enter the kitchen from. For the 3 drawers we have next to our stove, he suggested leaving the top one plain, and using a raised panel (like our new doors) for the lower 2. It makes the 2 lower drawers match the rest of the lower cabinet doors and is a great look that I never would have thought of doing. Sean was easy to work with and his team was very professional. We had just had new hard wood floors installed a few days before he did his work and I was worried that something might happen to the floors. No need to worry. They brought cardboard for the floors, taped off every surface that wasn't being refinished, and sealed off the kitchen to prevent dust from entering the rest of the house. My floors are still beautiful and now my cabinets are too! more

Sean and his team did an amazing job refinishing my cabinets. They made them look new. We believe we saved at least $10K by having them do this instead of buying new cabinets and much less hassle. His entire team is very professional and friendly. We were always comfortable having them in our house and they stood behind their work. There were a few minor touch ups that needed to be done and they did them with out a question. We had them refinish all the kitchen cabinets and a small bathroom. The color stayed the same just cleaned sanded, lacquered etc. Excellent job. I also had them all a small crown molding at the top of the cabinets and a small "light" molding at the bottom of the cabinets. Both were really worth the price as it completely updated the look of the 23 year old builder cabinets. Lastly we added end caps to the big cabinets. We added 5 of them and they were very well made, all solid wood. Really made the cabinets look rich. Lastly they built us a custom drawer to fit into where we had removed a trash compactor. Again all solid wood and it looks like it was made that way 20 years ago. So as you can tell I highly recommend them. Don't buy new cabinets until you talk to Sean. more

I contacted Sean at Bull Restoration on the recommendation of a friend whose kitchen he had worked on. We had spoken to one other company, part of a "Big Box" store and were totally turned off by their sales approach and cost projection, not to mention pressed board doors. Sean came in, and in a matter of moments had worked up an estimate for real wood doors, and glazing that was half the price of the other estimate. The team that came in to do the work were extremely clean, polite and professional. I can't speak highly enough of the work they did. more

Sean and his crew are total professionals. We appreciated his prompt responses to our questions - in a matter of hours we had a phone call or email with a plan. They refaced our cabinets with 1/4" wood and installed new doors and drawers. In addition, they built a new cabinet with pull- out for trash and recycling and a new book case over it. Every detail was considered and every question answered. There were no "additional" charges or hidden costs. Shawn and his team at Bull Restoration did an AMAZING job on my kitchen. We bought a home with wood cabinets that were in great shape but were stained green....yes, green!! Shawn and his team came in and removed the doors, added trim and reshaped the drawer fronts. They professionally sprayed the cabinets and added a glaze. The finish looks like it was straight out of the factory. Friends think I replaced my cabinets but it actually cost me less than half of what replacement would have been.
