Twice now i have stayed home from work to meet technician for scheduled work. Both times they didn't show. First time technician was sick, ok fine but couldn't some one else have come?? rescheduled for the following week. This time they notify me it's to cold to do the work and they can't come?? What if the weather was a factor in doing this work maybe they should have told and i could have told them the week before based on the forecast that maybe we shouldn't schedule this and waste my time!! Mr. Savage whole attitude stinks, "what do you want me to do" how about provide some service! more

I have used Builder's HVAC about 4 times and is generally excellent. Only improvement would be to leave an exact total and full details on customer's job ticket. Other would be to store a record of past service with a repeat customer and review yearly. I rely on Erik for this but generally it would help customer retention and satisfaction. more

Our furnace and A/C were original to the house, which is almost 40 years old, so they were well past needing to be replaced. We got three bids and Builder's was in the middle of the three, but I felt Morey (our sales rep) had a better understanding of what provided the best value for our situation. We went with a high-efficiency furnace and an upper-mid-grade A/C unit. Another company had suggested a higher grade A/C unit with a mid-range furnace. This is Colorado so it seems most reasonable to have a higher-grade furnace than A/C unit, as we use the A/C 2-3 months out of the year and the furnace 7 to 9 months. There were many little things like that which Morey just seemed to "get" better than the other fellows. We found the same level of competence with the install, which was no small thing, having to install new lines for just about everything. It has been almost a year since the install, and we could not be happier. The A/C works great and the furnace does a far better job than we had hoped. The house is much more comfortable -- and cleaner -- year round. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Builder's and will definitely use them in the future when the need arises. more

The service guys from BHAC are the best. They explain everything and have always been on time. They even take off their shoes upon entering the home! It's a pleasure dealing with them; it's a company you can trust and rely upon for great service. more

The repairman showed up on time. Did all the work that was listed on their original bid plus repaired some duct work that he found without any additional costs. Upon completion of the repair job our heat is flowing to areas of the house that were cold spots. We are very happy with the work that was done and would recommend this company to anyone needing repairs. more

Nothing worse than having no hot water and on the weekend. Came out within the hour of me calling. Got it fixed very quickly and at a decent price. Very friendly and I had hot water again in no time! more

Last time I had the furnaces checked I was charged one fee this time I was charged twice as much which was a surprise. The work was fine and the repair guy was great but for the cost of the replacement of the motor and then adding charges for two furnaces seemed a bit high when checking with other companies. more

Eric came to the house to help us with our furnace. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me to understand how my furnace works. He fixed our problem and taught me a lot in the process. This company is lucky to have him! more

Builders Heating installed our radiant heating and did a great job. It was as promised and functions exactly as promised. The price issue came up when they came out to address our boiler not working. The service rep quickly identified the problem and said he could replace it in about an hour for $650. i agreed to the work but was disappointed when i later looked up the price for the part on-line and noted that it only cost about $150, which means I paid $500 per hour for him to install it. When I asked about it, the response was that they charge a flat rate for that repair and the rate is $650, no matter how long the install takes. So it seems to me that the flat rates that the firm charges may be high. But the work was good. more

I bought a fixer-upper house last year and needed to have the air conditioning, furnace, and water heater checked. Each service was performed promptly and efficiently. I feel like the technicians were very knowledgeable and were able to take care of any issues without trying to sell me things that were not needed. They were considerate of my home and very friendly. Builders is not the cheapest service company around, but it is also not the most expensive. I think you get excellent service and value for the price. more
