Budget 1 Fence

i have used this company twice this past fall, ed was on time both jobs and just about as friendly a person as i have ever met.he was very fair on both estimates he gave me for both houses.the installers did a great job on both projects very professional i have already recommended them to three co-workers so far ,once again thanks for being honest folks more

Used this company when they were Affordable fence to install the patio fencing at our restaurant. The install was done incorrectly. (we have had other contractors inspect fence) Owner dissolved first company and created this new company to avoid honoring warranty work. They finally sent someone out to do repair work. He caused more damage, bent the fencing, then left without finishing and without us knowing. Called owner who yelled at us over phone, dropped F-bombs, tried intimidating us, handed phone to partner who also dropped F-bombs and hung up on us. Do not use! more

my wife and i have used budget fence twice in the past two weeks once for my daughters home and then ours. ed has been great he really takes his time with the estimates and in both instances he has been right on what a nice person this guy is,the installers have also been on time and the work is amazing,if you are looking for a fence in the near future please call budget fence they wont drop the ball. more

why do people complain about everything? ill never understand.i have used budget fence for the first time this past summer the salesman was dressed nice had a clean look and was exactly on time. the crew did an outstanding job they called in the morning and they were there in the morning they were also on time.the materials used on my wood fence were first rate and the job was perfect,ed even called me back a week or so after the fence was installed to make sure i was happy.i ask you what more can you ask from a busy company? you tell me more

my wife and i called three different companies out for estimates for a fence in our yard,the only one that was on time was budget fence we met with ed and he spent about 45 minutes with my wife and i going over the different styles of fences they carry,we chose an aluminum fence(no maintenance) ed gave us a great price on the fence. cant say enough about our fence it absolutely perfect.and ed is a great salesman we cant say enough about him.thanks budget fence more

my wife and i live in berea we chose budget fence because of ed he is down to earth and doesnt take life to seriously,budget has built two wood fences at both our homes they are always punctual you can always rely of them to get the job done right.thanks for everything ed and budget fence good luck in the new year .god bless more

my husband and i live in brookpark ohio and we have used budget fence twice,once for our home and once for my sons home in strongsville both times they have exceeded our expectations ed was punctual and went the extra mile to make sure we were very happy the crew did a great job at both locations.i have nothing but good things to say about them also i wasnt aware budget fence did fence repairs??? more

I wish I could give these people zero stars, but city search doesn't allow that. Budget Fence has had our money since late August, and still has yet to complete our fence repair. I have gotten the run around from their office manager, Beverly, on more than one occasion. She has given me verbal dates when the fence would be fixed, and yet it remains in disrepair. I have in writing that the fence would have been fixed this week, and yet they didn't show up, and didn't call to explain themselves. My husband called to ask for our money back, and the owner refused, and then yelled at my husband for turning them into the better business bureau. Do not use these people. Horrible, atrocious customer service, zero reliability, and zero communication. This is the worst experience with a contractor I've ever had. more

my wife and i got three estimates from three different fencing companies just to compare.we decided on budget fence for two reasons number one they have done many fences in our development and we saw their work and two was because of the salesmen ed he was cordial and right on time.he measured our yard and spent over a half hour with us explaining all the different styles of fences they build.trust me he had a smile on his face the whole time laughed and joked about the browns tribe etc but this guy is all business a seasoned professional to be sure..we gave ed a check for our deposit and within a month our fence went up..and he was correct the fence fits into our backyard theme perfectly..the installers were friendly and they cleaned up our yard perfectly..i wouldnt hesitate to use them again they walk the walk... more

i just had to write a short note about this fence company iam a property manager for one of the largest firms in ohio.we have used them on numerous occasions ed is punctual friendly and always on time, all of budget fences work has always been completed in a timely manner and professionally installed by their own crews,{they do not use subs} they have done pools for us dumpster enclosures,tennis courts and repairs and never have they not called before installing a fence for us.they are always timely ed makes sure of this.i have talked to ed at six am and ten at night and he is still working ,they go the extra mile for their customers period did you ever stop and think that weather has a lot to do with fence installations? people are always going to complain about anything they like to hear themselves talk..folks take my word for it this a great fence company check their reviews on dex knows and merchant circle..here the truth lies...john more

This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever been involved in. Initial salesman was amazing, loved him...after that, NO communication, no insight as to how the job would be done. Twice they said they would be out to "discuss the job with me" neither time they showed up. Once he said he did however, my brother in law was on my property and observed him sitting in his truck and did not leave the vehicle. When I requested that i cancel, they refused saying that "not after I did all this legwork" Talked to the owner and he was rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone. I am also a commercial property manager and considered using this company for a job at one of our properties. Not after this experience. At least the last review from 7/22 below me here did in fact receive phone calls. By far one of the worst. To "save a dollar" I guess I should have expected poor service, but even this goes beyond. The owner Chris is by far the worst and most unprofessional businessman around. more

I cannot adequately describe in 2,000 characters how horrible my experience was with Budget Fence from beginning to end. Between the deplorable customer service, the six different dates I was given for my install that were cancelled, and the independent contractors sent to my house that had the wrong contract and building plans I am not quite sure where to start. If I had to pick the absolute worst part about dealing with budget fence (and there are many to choose from) was how unprofessional, nasty and disrespectful the owner of the company was to me. A close second is the complete lack of communication between the home office and the independent contractors that are hired out to do the jobs. I would receive a phone call from the main office letting me know a time frame of when the installers would be over only to find out from the installers that they were either never planning on coming to my house that day or they had already been there and left. After having to reschedule my child care and work schedule to accommodate their ever changing installation dates given they were unapologetic, unsympathetic and extremely rude. To top it all off they never pulled the permit with the city. Please don’t make the same mistake I made by hiring this company. They already have an “F” rating on the BBB website. I am embarrassed that I did not research this company ahead of time. If I had, I would have found plenty of reviews and complaints just like this. more

We are having our 3rd fence installed by this company soon. We have put our deposit down already & can't wait to have our 3rd fence installed by them! We've had 1 white vinyl privacy fence installed at one home, then we moved & had another white vinyl scalloped picket fence installed on both sides of our property! A little pricey, but the end result was gorgeous quality work! And the prices on both of these fences were comparable. That is why we decided to have them install our 3rd fence at our new home. I am certain it will be just as good. Also, Ed the salesrep was respectful, knowledgeable, & gave me a great quote! Also, there was no pressure! All of the people at the office were kind & nice to talk to as I went in the next day to give them my deposit check! Plus, (lol) the office had a wonderful aroma as they burned their scented candles!!!!......:)........can't wait to get my new fence.......again!!! more

I suspect that the only reason this company changed it's name from "Affordable Fence" to "Budget Fence" is because they did not want to honor their warrantys for warped/cracked fences, and they owed so many customers repair work that they did not want to do. Their owner is very rude and seems much more interested in gaining new customers than satisfying those customers who have already paid their money. Many of us customers that got screwed over contacted the BBB to file a complaint about this company. The owner responded by dissolving his company and re-naming it. I suspect this is so that he did not have to repair all the junk fences his company installed- if not, that would be an awful strange "coincidence". Our fence is just over 2 years old and it is completely warped and cracked- it looks like junk! (By the way, all the warping and cracking started within ONE year!). Their company warranty promised repair/replacement of any warped/cracked boards for 5 years. Over 100 boards on our fence are either warped or cracked! Numerous calls to their company resulted in nothing by rude responses from the secretary and the owner. They refused to even come out and look at the fence, let alone honor their warranty! We are out thousands of dollars and so are many other customers that went with Affordable Fence/Budget Fence. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! more
