We used to always order the crab fried rice to go. The last 3 times we ordered it, we'd get all the way home and there'd be NO CRAB in the rice at all - and hello, at $15 it ain'...

Always my go to place for Thai food. Great value for money. The food is yummy, service is fast, staff is friendly. I generally order the Pad Kee Mao with their signature crispy garlic chicken, which is super delish! I love this place! more

Good Thai finally in West Seattle! 4/25/2006

It's hard to find a good restaurant in West Seattle. But no longer! Decor is nice; almost like Thaiku in Ballard. Although their noodle dishes don't compare to Thaiku's, Budda Ruska's signature Crispy Garlic Chicken is heavenly. I've never had pan-fried chicken this perfect over crispy basil leaves. Don't forget to get the Tom Yum (sp?) soup as well; great presentation and really fresh ingredients. yum. more

Heavenly Thai food in West Seattle 3/8/2006

Ignore the odd somewhat desolate location - once you step inside you forget all about the hubbub outside. Soothing exotic decor, mellow lighting and delicious aromas greet you.The menu is not your typical run of the mill Thai. There are many things on this menu I haven't seen or eaten before, or at least the way they are combined is unusual - and tasty. Don't miss the crispy chicken. Well worth the drive across the bridge! more

Rivals Bai Tong 12/12/2005

Bai Tong near the SeaTac Airport has been nearly gold standard for Thai food for years. Budda Ruksa is a little more out there and adventurous with more unusual recipes. Sort of yuppie Thai but in a good way. Service is good, staff isnice, food is great. A very good addition to West Seattle more

Great neighborhood Thai Food! 10/3/2005

This is a great place to go in West Seattle - especially if you like curry. The noodle dishes aren't quite as good but the curry is REALLY good. The staff are also very friendly. Good place to eat in or take out. more

The Best Thai Food I've Ever Had 9/6/2005

AMAZING thai food, really really amazing! The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. Daily specials are always new and always incredible. The crispy garlic tofu (or chicken or duck) will blow you away. The atmosphere is stylish and warm and cozy. The service is tops, super friendly wait staff always with a smile. Don't miss the fresh salad rolls...mmmm! more

Great Thai in W Seattle 4/26/2005

This is a really great Thai restaurant! They have very reasonable prices, and I really like the atmosphere inside. I especially recommend the trout salad, forest curry and garlic chicken. It’s nice that you can get brown rice here too, if you want. If you're in the West Seattle area and are trying to find a good place to eat, this is a good place to try out. more
