First-Rate Retirement Community 5/10/2012

After considerable research into various alternatives, my mother moved into GreenRidge at Buckner Villas late last year. My whole family could not be more pleased with the choice. The facility is first-rate, the apartment itself is well-designed and quite comfortable, the entire staff is consistently pleasant and helpful, and the neighbors have all been very friendly. The food is phenomenal (both in the dining room and the bistro) and, since GreenRidge is conveniently located, my brother and I often join our mother for meals. A wide variety of wellness and social activities are also offered (my mother is particularly fond of the water aerobics classes). Finally, having ready access to additional care levels with excellent medical care has already proven to be useful. I wholeheartedly recommend Buckner Villas. Pros: null Cons: null more

My parents are in the process of moving to an independent living Villa at Buckner Villas. The administrative staff have given them five-star service from the very beginning. There's no other place I'd rather call home . . . 1/22/2012

We spent A LOT of time researching retirement communities. As children of older parents, if we wouldn't live there ourselves, we weren't interested. We have visited Greenridge many times and 20 years from now this is where we want to live! The atmosphere is more than a community, it feels like family. The grounds, homes and facilities are immaculate. The employees are so highly professional, I felt like I was at an upscale resort. Excellent folks attending to real nice people 1/20/2012

My mom entered into the independent living side of Buckner a year ago. The folks there, all of them (housekeeping, dining staff, administration, health, etc.) are unrelentingly excellent. They both demonstrate they care about the folks there (including my mom) as well as really care about the place, keeping it very nice, very clean, very sharp and trying hard to find more things for the residents to do, have fun, learn, etc. Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent Retirement Environment 1/10/2012

New and beautiful facility - gym with fitness programs, indoor swimming pool, dining, beauty salon, game rooms, outdoor fireplace, and many amenities. Each apartment is equiped with a good size kitchen and a guest bathroom. All the staff are very friendly. I feel secure staying at this facility. Pros: null Cons: null more

Great Retirement Place 1/8/2012

We recently moved our mother into Buckner Villas, after checking out many of the other full tier retirement places in the Austin area. What differentiated this place from many of the others was the caring staff, the full care services offered (independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care), as well as the facility amenities ? including a wonderful fine dining and bistro cafe, beauty salon, fitness center, indoor swimming pool /jacuzzi, bank, chapel, recreational facilities, etc. The individual rooms are spacious and comparable to any super nice apartment-living arrangement in Austin. The facility has exceeded our mother?s and our expectations, and our mother is hard to please. If you are looking for a great retirement place, you should definitely check this place out. Wow, can't wait for my parent to move in.... 1/5/2012

My parents live out of state and I would love, I mean LOVE to see my folks living at Greenridge! My first visit was a WOW visit.. I was greeted right away and felt very "at home". I was then given a tour of the property. The building is so beautifully decorated and very classy. I did have a chance to eat in their dining room. The food was wonderful Many of the current residents stopped by to say " hi" to Rob, the marketing director, then raved about him and their experience at Greenridge. We visited several other similar places and hands down Greenridge is the winner. My parents came with me the second time and they felt the same as I did.
