The kids have things to do while they wait 2/7/2011

The kids have things to do while they wait, the parents have places to sit to observe, they thought of everything! And the staff is incredible with kids and parents! This is our 3rd trip and I didn't get any objections when I told the kids it was time to go to the dentist. more

Everyone was friendly and made my kids feel very comfortable. The kids were part of the process - shown tools before used on them, held suction instrument, asked how many teeth they had, etc. After his first visit to the dentist, my three-year old said - ""I like the dentist"". You can't get better than that. more

I would always want her 1/10/2011

I am too bad with names but the hygienist who took care of my 4yrs. old, was amazing. she was too good with my daughter. she made her feel very very comfortable. i would always want her for my daughters visit more

Baker and his team made me feel they would take care of me 1/6/2011

I was really worried about getting my teeth pulled. Dr. Baker and his team made me feel like they would take care of me. They let my Mom sit in the same room. I was glad my Mom let me have the laughing gas so I didnt notice the shots. more

One word: AMAZING !!! 12/2/2010

One word: AMAZING !!!! I first took my 22 month old son who had a case of bottle rot to a Dr. Nguyen in La Mesa who insisted, insisted that the only was we could proceed was to pull my son's upper 4 teeth. She even told me that we could go to another dentist for a second opinion & that the other dentist would say the same thing. When I asked how he would eat, her answer was that ""kids are resilient"" ...WTH ? So my son is supposed to have no teeth for the next 5-6 years & be made fun of in kindergarten ?? Anyways, when I took my son to Dr.Baker&told him I would not pull my son's teeth, he immediately said, why would you do that/ How would he eat? Needless to say I loved him right away. Instead of causing my son all the pain & anguish of teeth extractions,he put in 4 crowns on the upper teeth. (We chose the white, not the silver) &4 more silver in the back, bottom& top. He also did baby root canals on the teeth because my son was in pain everytime he ate something hot/cold. My son's teeth look absolutely beautiful!!!! The dentist is kind, friendly and patient,him and his staff treat children like human beings& not dollar signs. His anesthesiologist is the same, very knowledgeable and kind. We will be patients for life! more

My child came to Dr. Baker's office for her six months check up and cleaning. The staff are very courteous, happy, excited and friendly. They make all the children in the office feel very comfortable and they know how to handle fearful children. My child was taken care of like she was one of their family members. Dr. Baker showed me and explained to me my child's x-rays on his camera and I was relieved to know about the growing permanent teeth and their placing. I love this office and so does my child. The staff is great and so is Dr. Baker. I recommend him to any one who is lookign for a pediatric dentist. more

I was really impressed... 11/4/2010

I was really impressed with the facility. My son loved the waiting room and having the cleaning room be so open. He was scared to be there since it was his first visit but being able to look around the corner and seeing that other kids were doing it and it didn't hurt helped greatly more

I recommend Dr. Baker and his staff to everyone who is looki 10/19/2010

I took my son to Dr. Baker's office for the first time and he diagnosed General Anesthesia for my child because of his young age and cavities. At first, I was worried because of the procedure and putting my son under general anesthesia. But Dr. Baker, spoke with me on numerous occasssions over the phone and he explained to me the general anesthesia procedue. He put me at ease and so did thei anesthesiologist, Dr. Mai. On the day of the procedure, the staff and Dr. Baker kept me in a positive atmosphere and before I knew it, the procedure was done and it was done with excellence! I truly appreciate Dr. Baker and Dr. Mai plus their staff who are truly concerned about their patients. Thank you and I recommend Dr. Baker and his staff to everyone who is looking for a pediatric dentist. more
