Both of my boys love Dr. Baker that my oldest has thought of becoming a Dentist. We love the warmth, smiles, stickers, and balloons. As a parent I love the patience, compassion, and seeing the kids rewarded for no cavaties. Go Dr. Baker and Staff! more

I recommend Dr. Baker 3/16/2010

I took my son to Dr. Baker's office for the first time and he diagnosed General Anesthesia for my child because of his young age and cavities. At first, I was worried because of the procedure and putting my son under general anesthesia. But Dr. Baker, spoke with me on numerous occasssions over the phone and he explained to me the general anesthesia procedue. He put me at ease and so did thei anesthesiologist, Dr. Mai. On the day of the procedure, the staff and Dr. Baker kept me in a positive atmosphere and before I knew it, the procedure was done and it was done with excellence! I truly appreciate Dr. Baker and Dr. Mai plus their staff who are truly concerned about their patients. Thank you and I recommend Dr. Baker and his staff to everyone who is looking for a pediatric dentist. Julie C.? more

Kids Enjoyed It 3/9/2010

I took my children here for 5 years and they really enjoyed the office and back office atmosphere. We never had any problems, but we also never had any major issues. I felt they did a wonderful job with ensuring my children didn't know when they were being given a shot, though I ALWAYS pay for gas to help make the experience a good one. We would continue to go, but we just live too far away now. Julie F. more

Dr. Baker was very kind and gentle when my children went to him to have cavities filled. He offers sedation for fillings which was very appealing to me. My children had a positive experience and are not afraid to go to the dentist. more

My husband and I both go here and we have both been very happy with him and his staff. He seems to have cutting edge technology but has not tried to push unnecessary proceedures on us (as it seems so many dentists do.) more

performed everything quickly and without pain 2/5/2010

I found Poway Family Dental just by searching on Delta Dental's provider list, and they had the most convenient hours. Their office is clean and high-tech. Everything is digital there - digital x-rays, cameras in your mouth, and TV commercials to watch while you wait for the dentist. My dentist was very friendly and he performed everything quickly and without pain. What more could you ask for? more

Im still going to them for my dental needs 2/4/2010

I came here after my previous dentist messed up a tooth of mine. They were helpful and easily accepted my insurance. The office is newer with high tech stuff like digital xrays. The dentist is gentle. They've always done a good job at taking care of my teeth. I also got the Zoom whitening done here. It was a reasonal price, under $300, without specials or coupons. Made my teeth really white, almost Ross white. So Im still going to them for my dental needs.Which reminds me I need to get a cleaning... more

I was really impressed with the facility. My son loved the waiting room and having the cleaning room be so open. He was scared to be there since it was his first visit but being able to look around the corner and seeing that other kids were doing it and it didn't hurt helped greatly. more

We Love Dr. Baker!!! 1/22/2010

My daughter has been going to Dr. Baker for 4 years, and he is fantastic! My daughter has had 2 teeth pulled, and it took less than 15 minutes, and the healing process took less than a day. Dr. Baker has done a wonderful job teaching my daughter the importance of dental hygiene, and I have NEVER had an experience like the review before. Sometimes the wait is tedious, but there is a lot for the children to do while waiting. If you need a dentist you can trust, this is your Dr. more

The best Dentist !!!!! 1/22/2010

Wow where do I start? I love this office, its so kid-friendly. My son just LOVES coming here. We moved and even though it takes us 45 min. to an hour to get there, we dont care! We are just so happy with that office! I love the back office staff- they where very good with my son they explained step by step what they are doing that way my son didn't feel uncomfortable. I really recommend this office to anyone that would like to take their child/children to a dental office that doesnt leave a bad taste in their mouth... more

less scared than if i had visited any other dentist 1/14/2010

As a kid, I visited Dr. Baker's office. My front teeth were really jacked up after a face-first fall onto asphalt, and one of them needed to be removed (why my parents couldn't just wait for that stupid tooth to fall out, I don't know). The numbing injection was pretty painful, but I suppose that's to be expected. Dr. Baker removed the tooth fairly quickly, but to be honest, I didn't feel any less scared than if I had visited any other dentist. Dr. Baker is a pediatric dentist, but I suppose that if you're a scared kid, you're a scared kid, and nothing will change that. more

If I could give Dr Baker and his staff 10 stars I would! 1/13/2010

When my youngest son was 1 1/2 years old, he fell and broke his front tooth. I was so upset! Dr Baker's staff was able to get x-rays on my WILD little guy within a minute. They are very good at working with kids and knew all the tricks. Dr Baker could have suggested all kinds of unnecessary and expensive procedures. I would have done anything. Instead, he assured me that there wasn't nerve damage and the tooth could stay in! The fact that they were able to treat my son AND he still loves the dentist is nothing short of amazing! Dr Kim is great too. The staff is very friendly and really focus on keeping an upbeat kid friendly attitude. My kids actually look forward to going to the dentist! I would never take my kids anywhere else. more
