So I returned to Brown's on a misty autumn afternoon, eagerly anticipating what would prove to be a mind-relocating culinary experience. Upon my arrival to the heart-warming facade, I was promptly seated by the Maitre'd, Bill. The tables, accented with crimson and taupe checks, reflect a simpler age, an age where burgers and frito pies aren't demonized for not being organic and containing simple carbs and transfats. If you're looking for health food, go to Whole Foods you wimp; if you want real American food, Brown's does it better than anyone. Wonderful burgers, addicting fries, and beer that could have only been chilled in the diminishing Arctic circle, are staples of this family-owned establishment. This is the most American restaurant this side of the Mississippi. If you don't think so, you are likely French... or a communist.
Pros: Ambience, Flo, Owner
Cons: I'm not there right now.
