Bridal Expressions

The older lady there that tried to help me was extremely rude. When I had on what started out as one of my favorites, she took one look at me and said, -no that is not the dress for you, take it off- and then preceded to tell me that my hips were too big for that style and that I was going to have a hard time finding anything to look right on my body shape. As if she were one to talk anyway. \r \r Went to another bridal shop and found some really sweet girls that made me feel special and pretty again and ended buying the perfect dress from them instead of from that horrible, mean old lady. more

This store was horrible!! The first time I went in they weren't too bad, but you could immediately tell that they were extremely fake about being interested in what I responded to all of their ""set"" list of questions they ask, responding with their voices up to shrill level to feign interest. The only reason I ended up buying from them was because the dress I settled for was an older style and ended up being on sale. Once they found out that I wasn't going to spend that much on they dress, I might as well have rung myself up and bagged the dress myself because they were on to the next customer or any phone call that came in. And at the end, when I was re-trying on my favorites, she was over on their computer playing solitaire or some other card game and didn't assist me at all even though I was the only one there in the store. And I wasn't able to have my mom or sisters there to help me either so it was extremely upsetting to be treated like a second class person. Shame on them! more

What a lovely store! It is a real treat to to visit Bridal Expressions. The ambience can not be topped and the service is warm and professional. The selection of wedding dresses is extensive and they have prom dresses to match all tastes. It makes me smile to see all the lovely colors and textures in such a lovely setting. more

I would not recommend buying your dress here. Or, if you do, I would not get it tailored by anyone in-house. I bought my wedding dress here and was very pleased with the design of the dress and the service I received until it was mailed to me. Since I lived out-of-state, the measurements for tailoring (which was only adding a bustle and hemming the dress about an inch) were done on the day I bought the dress. The tailoring was done by someone at Bridal Expressions. I am not sure if they were an employee or someone they contract with for tailoring. Regardless, when I got the dress it was a mess. The whole lining under the dress along with the hemline was completely crooked. Given the short turn-around time for the wedding, I had to hire another person to fix the dress. I had already paid Bridal Expressions $200 for the tailoring. It cost me an additional $300 to fix their work. My new tailor went on and on about what a horrible job was done the first time and that I should get my money back. After the wedding, I tried to do this. I had receipts and my tailor was willing to talk to them about the issues with the dress. They asked me to send an email and then it took them a month to respond. After responding it was obvious that they were not going to reimburse me for the tailoring regardless of the fact that I had another professional to vouch for me. more

Bridal Expressions has a lot to offer! They specialize in modest wedding gowns, almost everyone I know can always find something they just love at Bridal Expressions. Their modest prom and modest wedding gowns are designer quality and don't look like any other bridal shops around, this store is anything but cookie cutter. From the minute you walk in to Bridal Expresssions you know you've found the best bridal shop in Salt Lake. It's hip and moder and so are the dresses. I would recommend this shop to anyone (and I do) I found my dream dress there and I am sure you will too. more
