Not a bad place 9/12/2005

The staff is extremely knowledgeable. They have a great selection of 80's and 90's books. Their Bronze Age selection has some holes, as does their Silver and Golden Age Collections, albeit to a much greater degree. The prices are fair, but you will not find any steals. They have a great pre-order service, and a spacious, nuerotically organized sales floor. more

Used books? Really 8/6/2005

Next time you are heading over to Barnes and Noble to get that great fiction recommended by your friend, call Big Jar Books and you may be surprised because they have your book in stock and you will not pay full price because it is a used copy! Despite being used, books here are in great shape, and although you won't find books for a buck in here, you will save over buying them new. more
