Brick House Tavern & Tap

Had a not so good experience. Never give your credit card to start a tab if you plan to pay cash. We explained pretty clearly to the bar tender Chelsea that we wanted to pay in cash. I guess that might be too hard to understand. The service was okay. We asked for a TO-GO box and it took forever but everything else was not the best but tolerable. We got our ticket paid cash and gave her a pretty generous tip. We get home and see that she also charged our credit card. This is the second time this has happened with the same bartender Chelsea. The first time we just let it go but had to say something the second time. So we call the store and speak a manager . The managers don't seem to really Care about your concerns AT ALL. Every time we call a different manager answers and has no idea what in the world they are saying\doing. They just don't collaborate. They have been giving us these BS answers every time we call. It's been a month and they are still ""figuring"" it out. One of the managers said they needed the credit card receipt....it's like HELLO we don't have one because we paid cash!!!!! They say they will call back or the money will go to our account and days go by with no phone call/ no money returned. more

Went in to the Humble BH tonight, had a Corona with lime...asked to be seated...waited at table for 10 minutes...no one came over...left...as I am leaving the girl asked glad you came...come again...doubtful. more

We went to Brick House with another couple for dinner and drinks. The wait staff is entirely composed of very young women (mostly 18-20) in very small outfits! It was cute for some but our waitress was literally a DUMB blonde! Other than the slight twinge of discomfort at the thought of being surrounded by girls dressed waaaay skimpy with my husband present, it was actually a fun night after the first few minutes! We had the Shock Top beer served in the tall tap at our table. Good deal and the beer was different and really cold. The burger I shared with my husband was AMAZING! Served open-faced on french bread with a fried egg on top, it was mouthwatering! The fries were also very good and for dessert we all shared the DOUBLE D-cup cakes. Cute right? The chocolate one was excellent. They play music LOUD as you sit on one of the couches to eat your meal and it makes it a little hard to talk but we really didn't care. The fireplaces are nice and overall the place is pretty fun! Just don't take your 10-12 year old son. It would be too much for his little innocent eyes! Pros: Unique beers, fair prices, great fries and burgers Cons: Not family friendly! (ladies dress sexy if taking your man!) more
