My wife and I had an amazing experience at the Bowers Harbor Inn. The drive was beautiful, the setting is timeless. The cuisine was exquisite, and the service impeccable. It is a truly unique experience and our favorite in all of Michigan! Pros: Romantic setting, service, cuisine Cons: Not a quick kind of place, make a full evening out of it more

The drive up to the restaurant is spectacular, yet pales in comparison to the cuisine. Smoked whitefish spread is a must. Any I've ever had there has been of unparalleled excellence. Service is well paced, yet attentive. Pros: food, beverage, service Cons: price more
