Having been a patient at this hospital a few times over the last few decades, I feel that I have gotten a great feeling for this hospital and its' inner workings. \r

Years ago, before the recession, Boulder Community was at the top of its game; treatment was great and efficient. The staff was happy and dedicated.\r

Fast forward to present and this hospital is merely a skeleton of what once was. It is rare not wait hours for service. This is not because the staff is not trying, it is simply because they are still busy but have significantly reduced staffing and wages. I recently heard that their employees no longer get their pensions, no matter how long they have worked there! None-the-less, it is clear that the stff still genuinely cares about their patients, and they still manage to remain one of the top hospitals in the state.
Pros: many specialties, educated staff
Cons: old hospital, over-worked and short staffed.
