I haven't been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. My favorites, however, are the turkey dip and the pepper jack beef. The atmosphere is wonderfully jazzed based. It is tucked into the basement of the historic Boston building. This is a must try. Trust me you'll become a regular. Pros: Food & Atmosphere Cons: Hard to find parking more

Great Lunch Away from the Office 6/10/2005

This place has really friendly service. If you're not sure what to get, just tell them what type of meat you like on your sandwich and they'll tell you what's best. I'd recommend the roast beef with chiles - try it, you'll like it! Try to get there before the lunch crowd though. Pros: Friendly, Great Sandwiches Cons: Long wait at noon more

Hidden in a basement off Main Street, the Boston Deli is nonetheless heavily populated daily for lunch. And for good reason--their sandwiches and soups always make a great lunch. It can be very difficut to find a table if you arrive after 12pm, though. Pros: good sandwiches, good soups Cons: long lines more

Simple and pleasing 5/14/2002

Surprisingly, The Boston Deli has nice lighting for a place that's located in a basement. The food is simple (sandwiches, soups, cookies) but it's of very good quality. Grab a quick meal to take back to the office or linger for a while and read the paper. Pros: Quick Cons: Counter service more
