Typical arcade, amusement park 8/11/2005

Nothing that sets this park apart from any other arcade or amusement park. However, the games do tend to be cheap (look for specials on specific days) and it is a fun place to go work off some stress. Definately a good place to take children; there are many birthday parties and gatherings that take place here. Also, it's unnecessary to be over 18/over 21 for those who cannot enter places like Dave & Busters (w/o a parent). more

Your average mini amusement park 8/11/2005

Boomers is kind of like a permanent version one of those mini travelling amusement parks on the back of tractor trailers. The rides are not overly thrilling to make you want to come back and they never have the latest in video games. It is however a good value if you choose to go on Tuesday where $10 will buy you an unlimited ride pass and unlimited video games. The batting cages however cost extra. Miniature golf isn't a bad attraction, and the bumper boats are mildly amusing. more

All right. 8/7/2005

For some mild fun, Boomers is a quick and inexpensive trip for families and groups of friends who don't want to drive up to Los Angeles to pay $40-$50 for big amusement parks and long lines. They are open long enough to keep things interesting and offer a lot of different activities to keep people amused. The concessions are average and the arcade games selections are a little boring, but it's still a fun trip every now and then. more

Tries too Hard 8/6/2005

With all the stuff the park contains, none of it seems to be that great. I wish they could have had better quality machines and games instead of go carts that go about trotting speed. It would be a good place for a kid's party, but nothing good for everyone else. more

Kinda small 8/1/2005

Boomers in El Cajon is a fun place for a childs birthday party. It's also kinda fun for adults birthday parties! There are video games and a go cart track. It's easy to get to right off the 67 and the 8 freeways. There is a snack counter with your normal greasy fatty type foods, that taste oh so good! more
