If you're looking for a new or gently used book be sure to check the Book Oasis, Main st. Stoneham. The owners are onsite and extremely helful. They know their inventory, will make suggestions and order a book if they don't have it in stock. more

Bookstore for People who love Bookstores 2/27/2011

Lots of books in stock, used and some new, & the owners are helpful in finding and, if you ask, recommending books. Great for browsing because of the layout and not creepy/dark like some bookstores. They also have gifts& handmade items (I have bought several hand knit infant sweaters/booties from them & gotten raves in return). No coffee shop but a comfortable reading chair! more

A great New England used bookstore 8/25/2010

This used & new bookstore is full of character. There are comfortable chairs in corners, a children's nook, a non-fiction room and fantastic hand-made gifts. They also carry Melissa & Doug toys, Pashmina Scarves, books on CD, book marks and greeting cards. New books are always discounted and used books are half cover price.\r Conveniently located on route 28, it's just a quick jaunt up 93. Look for the suit of armor wearing a funky hat and you are there!\r The window says there are 30,000 titles, but the store is anything but cramped or messy. Bright and clean with wide aisles and surprises around every corner. more
