Nice outdoor dining. Waitresses were nice and kept the drinks coming. This is really a trendy "meatmarket" type of place with a lot of pretentious people. Overall an "OK' exper...

Loved the Bluwater. Just moved to seattle and went to the Bluwater on a co-workers suggestion. Me and my fiance' were treated great by the staff and really loved talking with them. The servers were great! I just wouldn't let my fiance go back alone!! what a beautiful staff Pros: fun Cons: busy more

Went to the Bluwater last weekend!! Awesome! eight of us had dinner and all was perfect! Such a rarity in Seattle, can't wait until the deck opens. Also the manager with the blonde hair is HOT!!! I'm going back just to see her. Cons: crowded more

watered down drinks???? 10/10/2002

Let me say first off that I love the BluWater, but I swear they water down the booze. I love the BluWater for the edgy crowd and great outdoor bar/dining area. On nice weekends the outside bar gets packed, so expect it. I will go back, probably several times each month next season, not for the booze, but for the crowd. Order beer, or wine and you'll be okay. Pros: Crowd, outside bar, smores Cons: drinks, price, service more

Ok....For summer 10/5/2002

Nice outdoor dining. Waitresses were nice and kept the drinks coming. This is really a trendy "meatmarket" type of place with a lot of pretentious people. Overall an "OK' experience. Drinks were higer priced than most places in the Downtown area. Pros: Nice waitstaff, Cool outdoor dining Cons: Pretentious crowd, Meatmarket-ish more

Good view, bad place 9/22/2002

The waitress was more concerned with rotating the table than offering a good experience. Given the difficulty in finding parking, it's hard to get in there as it is (on a nice day), it'd be nice to be able to relax once you get a seat. Still, not all wait-staff was this way on other occassions. Pros: People wathcing Cons: Too impersonal more

It's a meat market 5/20/2002

I've only been once and it's just not my thing, though the waterfront setting is beautiful and, during the day, the outdoor deck is pleasant. But I think, at night, it's best to avoid unless you are looking for a meat market-type ambience. more
