The city of Cuyahoga Falls has made Blossom Music Center turn the music down so much that lawn seats are a waste of money. It used to be fun to sit under the stars on the grass and sip a beer while singing your favorite songs. Now you can't here the music. What a great past time Blossom used to be. Who had the idea to put that there? 11/11/2002

and why do they use it for concerts? Driving off too the middle of nowhere to sit out in the lawn and not able to even make out the band is not what I call a good time. Then you drive home...you can't get out of the parking lot...then you have to go thru a maze to get back to the highway...its all crazy and stupid. They don't let you just roam as you please like Nautica.... if your lucky enough to get a pit ticket the night is fun...otherwise your confinded to a seat or the lawn. Blossom was meant for the Cleveland orchestra and therefore it was a mistake. Pros: shows Cons: parking, expensive, distance more

Outdoors is for Hiking 10/3/2002

Yes, it's fun to see the Orchestra here, and yes it can be fun to run around on the lawn, but for sound quality and actually SEEING a band, outdoor venues are pretty crappy, and this one is the worst. Unless you are in the Pavillion, you may as well just go to the Metroparks and bring along a CD player and a photo of the band - the effect will be about the same. Blossom Music Center "Blooms" 9/29/2002

In 1997, I went to go the smashing concert of the Spice Girls. I was very impressed with BMC (Blossom Music Center). Everything was laid out nice. In 2000, my father performed at BMC for the Swing and Jazz Fest. It was very nice backstage. I hope to go back to BMC in a few years again. Love the Outdoors 9/17/2002

I have been going to Blossom Music Center to watch my favorite concert artists since the early eighties. I loved going there the first time and still love it. The feeling that you get when you are there is like no other. You are outdoors under the stars, one with nature viewing your favorite artist, you can not beat that. I just wish they still let you bring in a bottle of wine and a cheese plate. Pros: outdoors, events, clean Cons: line for the bathroom, long walk from car, beverage costs more

Take out a bank loan 8/14/2002

The SHOWS themselves can't be beat! But GETTING there and getting OUT would test the patience of Job. Speed traps, endless one lane traffice and walking about 2 miles from your parking space get you all OUT of the mood! Add to that the $6 soda/beer and you wonder if turning up your stereo, opening the windows and stretching out in the yard wouldn't be as much fun. Pros: beautiful, cheap tickets Cons: hard to get to/from, very pricey food, smelly/dirty bathroom more

Rock On 7/25/2002

Everyone has to experience Blossom at least once. Sure beer is expensive, but hey, it's a small price to pay for hanging at a top name concert with the ones you love. Besides, you could always check out the orchestra and bring along some wine. If you don't like sitting amounst the throng, grab some pavillion seats. Pros: best acts, good sound Cons: bathrooms, beer prices $8.00 more
