Bloomington Driving School

Sent my teenage son to this driving school and he got very little actual driving instruction time behind the wheel. The instructor would have the students drive him on errands and even left them sitting in the car waiting for him while he spent time visiting a friend at a mobile home park! My son may have spent the promised 6 hours in the car, but certainly did not get 6 hours behind the wheel! What he mainly did was drive a little ways down a highway before the instructor switched to the other student to drive. more

These are a bunch of irresponsible, rude, unprofessional people. I had signed up for six 1-hour slots ? I was told to ?compromise? and take the lessons in three 2- hour slots. Why? Because the instructor didn?t want to waste his time picking me up and dropping me off. It says VERY clearly on their website that they pick up and drop off students from their home/work. Not only that, I was told to cram my lessons in the few slots the instructor had open in the next 10 days. Never mind that I didn?t want to be rushed, never mind that my schedule didn?t match at all with the 6 slots he had left, I was repeatedly told to compromise and take the lessons. I don?t know about you, but I am in no mood for compromise when I have paid $300. The worst part was that they were so incredibly hard to get hold of ? the ?office? number is actually the lady?s cell phone, and she will not answer it till way into the afternoon. This school is never expensive if you think about the high quality of tutors. I am a Japanese who is poor at English. Furthermore I am in my mid-forties and had never touched even a steering wheel before I took the lesson. However my tutor D has a lot of experiences to teach such a poor student like me, and thanks to her, even I could pass the test. I strongly recommend this school and her. more

Great place to take driving lessons. Best one in town. They take their time to help you and make sure you are ready for driving lessons. They are kind, caring, sensitive to your needs, and really understand you. more

I have a good friend who took private lessons from Bloomington Driving School. She took lessons from Lou Bailey. She said he was very nice and calming and reassuring. I know he must have good because her confidence level was way way up after she was done with him. She kept asking if she could drive my car which was not normal for her at all. more
