GREAT HOOKAH lounge!! 3/8/2011

I love to chill there with friends from overseas, I usually bring my own herbs to burn there and not always use hookah. I bring herbal from a website called ""Hollywood Nights Herbal Incense"" and my euro homie's love to try Hollywood style living and this place makes them feel like party in USA!!! more

so I am definitely not one to write reviews, but i felt it was necessary this time. me and my man were visiting from MN and decided to go to the hookah bar one night. It was completely dead in there when we got in and the staff were friendly from the very beginning. Shrini greeted us right away, reccomended a flavor, and was very quick with getting it out to us. His assistant Luana is the cutest! she was very friendly and chatty from the get go, and both were very knowlegable in hookah. we ended up coming back the next day to buy one and she totally remembered us. SUCH a great experience! Definitely a top notch hookah shop, and a for sure stop if youre ever in the area! thank you all for the help and advice! i love my new hookah! more

Best Smoke Shop EVER!!! 3/26/2010

We drove from Bakersfield to Hollywood in search of a new water pipe. We stopped in at Black Myst where we recently bought one. Before we were able to walk the boulevard to check out other shops, Abhinav was able to help us pick the PERFECT Govermint pipe. Black Myst was once again the best spot to pick up a new pipe. These guys DEFINITELY know thier stuff. It is worth the drive, and we will be back soon!! Pros: Very Knowledgeable, Great Selection more

Well. I'm impressed! 3/25/2010

Well, I just felt like I need to share my feelings about this place and that guy who's working there (Srini?). My future and me both love smoking hookah, but have never owned one. So, we decided to give it a try and buy some nice little smoking machine. :) We looked this place up here, at citysearch. And I'm telling you - reviews don't lie. The guy who helped us to choose the hookah we wanted was three times better, then just awesome. It looks like he knows everything about hookahs, smoking and being a great friend for a customer. Nuff said. I'm now sitting in my place and smoking that amazing hookah with apple tobacco we got last night at Black Myst. Thank you guys. You're my number one in hookah business now! Found the sickest pipe 3/12/2010

I recently came into Black mist just to see their selection. I thought that it was just like other head shops but this place blows all of the others out of the water. There were two girls in there and they were extremely helpful. Holly showed me all of the pros and cons about bongs and vaporizors and Anita knew all the good flavors of hookah. I really didnt have that much money to blow but they showed me this case where all these pipes were on sell and i couldn't help but get a badass bubbler for only 20 bucks. I was really stoked on how much they knew about there products and how cool it was that they worked with my price range. This shop is badass!!! Pros: Best selection of glass, employees know their shit Cons: No parking more

first of all... it's a pleasant surprise when you get greeted when you walk into a business (l.a. seems to lack that part of customer service). not only were they informative, they were nice, polite, and not pushy. they have something for everybody in every price. i've been there twice and the first time spent an hour looking at everything, second time i brought my fiance and we still spent an hour just looking at everything. basically, great customer service, informative, and well diverse Pros: diverse in product Cons: parking more

Srini is very knowlegable and was very helpful. and the prices were good.\r My wife and I are from Arizona, we found this shop on a visit to Hollywood a few months ago. One of the best places to visit while in Hollywood, the pretty girls smoking Hookah lured us in and we are fans now, one of the best sheesha we had, i think it was called Fuzzy. I have been going to Mike's for a while and this certainly is a step up. They are open till 3 AM which is a plus. Pros: Great Tobacco, Open till 3 AM more

Amazing Staff, Amazing Inventory! 5/18/2009

I found myself wandering in the store 2 days ago with no real intention of purchasing an item. I must say once I walked in I was impressed with the inventory. As I admired the items I was approached by Shrini who was very nice and definitely very accommodating to any questions I had. I ended up leaving about 20 min. later with his business card. The next day I thought more and more about this one item I decided I just had to have. I went back the following day with Shrinis card and info on the item we had discussed. When I walked in he was there and remembered me right away. We chatted for a little bit at which point I told him I had to have that item. He even threw in a free bag for me! Needless to say next time I am in the market for a new piece of amazing art I know where I will go and who I will be talking to!! Pros: educated, friendly staff more

The Service is great, and the guys who work here are super smart. They know everything about the glass and products that they sell, I guarantee you will never get ripped off shopping here. Loved the way this hookah lounge & smoke shop is setup. the front is the hookah lounge where i got the best service from marie.. cute lil hookah server. highly recommend exotic peach, will make your mouth water. good job with the place will be back on the weekend. stumbled upon this place in Hollywood, while we were deciding where to chill in Hollywood. it's really a nice place, kinda narrow but very chill. the blonde girl working there was very sweet, European i guess. the hookah was the best i have ever smoked, picked some up next door where they have the biggest head shop, the tobacco was $10 but worth it. Good place to chill and hangout, we paid $14 for the two of us, and they hooked us up with free parking in the back. more
