BTH is one of the better sub shops I've been too here on the West Coast.
Back east the place to get a sub is at a local pizza parlor.
Here it seems to be a bit more specific when it comes to food.
They are skimpy on the toppings, BUT that's alright really. Just like Pizza it doesn't take much toppings to make a good slice long as the dough is good.
I'll be honest the bread isn't the best you'll ever have but its def better than ""Subway"". They don't have the variety of flavors of bread than subway has BUT at least the texture of the bread is pretty spot on. Its light and fluffy on the inside and slightly flaky top crust. Though it could stand to be a bit more toasted is still pretty darn good.
Up in Vancouver, WA there is a place to get a much better sub though. I know I know, Vancouver has NOTHING!!! but trust me this place called ""Smokies Pizza"" has the best subs I've yet to have here in the West.
Pros: close to NY style
Cons: not quite NY style
