Big Daddy's Bbq & Banquet

Went TWICE while in Fairbanks 'cause it was just that good. The shredded chicken is moist and flavorful. The sauces are tasty. Great service, too. more

It's always great to eat where the locals do! This was so good, reminded us of Kansas City BBQ ! It isn't fancy but a great spread of food for a great price, and BBQ isn't supposed to be fancy! And you are in Alaska! more

We were shocked to find a real BBQ place. The food was awesome and living in Kansas City, we know our BBQ. This wasn't your fried meat dowsed in BBQ sauce. Good smoked meat with a rub. You could see the smoke ring on the meat. more

Our server recommended the ""Big Pig"" (or maybe ""Wild Hog"") plate to share. The meat was varied and delicious - and enough to easily serve three people. more

Since it was Super Bowl Sunday, we chose to carry-out. But enjoyed the atmosphere while we waited at bar. Burnt ends were sold out being that it was Super Bowl Sunday, so we opted for the Cowboy Sundae. It consisted of BBQ bean on the bottom, topped with brisket, then coleslaw, drizzed with BBQ sauce...sounds horrible, but excellent. Our first ever Fried Pickles served with sour cream and ranch dressing...another excellent choice. Would definitely eat here many times over if we could. more

Dinners are good. I do the bar dinning and socialize with people. Enjoy the food, drinks and music. Always a great experience. more

I am completely disappointed in your Fairbanks location, which I visited tonight. I had heard such wonderful things about your restaurant and was so excited to visit it. However, after tonight, I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to go there. I came with two other adults and two toddlers. After our waitress took our drink and food orders, we never saw her again. Our drinks were NEVER refilled. After waiting for over 30 minutes for our food, I went to find her to explain that the children were getting anxious and ask about the status of our order. She told me that she would check on it, and once again, she never returned. After waiting another 15 minutes, the manager came and apologized for the slow service and told us that our order had been lost. After bringing us cold cornbread, the manager brought us our orders to go. The manager told me that she would bring me the check. After waiting another ten minutes, I had to find the waitress and inquire about the check. We were charged full price for everything. When we were home, we realized that the Bacon Cheeseburger had no sauce and burnt bacon on it. The macaroni and cheese was disgusting. If this is how you treat your customers, we will never return to Big Daddy's again. Cons: Terrible service, lost our order, lost our check, no refills more
