Great food, free internet, friendly staff more

My first encounter with Bianca's was to ask the owner to contribute a pasta dish to a local non-profit event. Ever since that first taste of the Bianca's Lasagne, I've been a huge supporter. The pasta sampler and the Ultimate Pasta are enough to satisfy the biggest appetites. And the Garlic Rolls are reason enough to keep coming back. The salads are a little small when compared to the rest of the portions, but that's the only non-positive comment I can make. The see the owner from time to time while we enjoy our food and he remembers my name everytime he visit (which isn't often enough). I don't care how good the food is (and it's pretty good). The service is lousy. We practically had to tackle the wait staff in order to get them to pay attention to us. I won't return. more

The food is wonderful, everything one would expect from a locally-owned Italian restaurant. However, as good as the food is, it doesn't make up for the terrible service one receives at the register. I haven't tried enough of the food to say whether most of it's good or bad, but the soups are home made and out of this world. If you're a soup person, you'll probably like this place (unlikely soup place I know, but I'll swear by it). I've had pizza and the calzones, which were both average (but good average). I'd go back. Since they have moved to their new location I've had two positive experiences with them, one ""okay"" and three REALLY disasterous encounters. Make no mistake about it, they still put out good food. And you'll enjoy the meal, so long as you can get their attention. If you go in and sit down, service tends to be okay. Go in and try to order a take out? I've ended up walking out two times after waiting for over 7 mins. the first time and 5 mins the second. I was frustrated, but sure seemed like they were enjoying their conversation that was going on in front of me. I'm not talking about peak hours either. Bianca Pizza and Pasta is by far the best Italian food in Tallahassee. They have a great menu that has everything from pizza, calzones and strombolis to baked pastas, seafood dishes, chicken and veal dishes and amazing desserts. They have dine in, pick up and delivery all over the city! They even do catering! The service is fast, friendly and reliable. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone and can't wait to go back myself! Pros: Extensive Menu, Great, Fast Service, Good Location more
