Dependable-Professional-Reliable Team\r Charles called the day prior to the scheduled move and the morning of the move.\r They were on time, prepared and did not waste their time or mine in getting me moved.\r Nothing was broke, scratched, dented or mishandled. They could have been moving\r the Mona Lisa by the process they used to move our things! They worked as a team from \r start to finish. \r After unloading, Charles gave me a copy of the invoice - which was the amount that \r I had estimated and a copy of their insurance policy. When is the last time a local moving \r company provided you with a legitimate copy of their insurance?\r ""A Better Move"" are professionals who take their company and the service they provide \r seriously. How much more can you ask from a group of total strangers when it comes\r to taking possession of all you prized valuables?!? My first experience using movers was very bad w/Aardvark Movers but was saved by A Better Move. I set my appt with Aardvark several weeks in advance after reading many great reviews and receiving there low quote. When my moving day arrived, I waited for an hour and a half before I called the office to question why no one had showed up. When I called the person who answered my call couldn't find my quote in their system at all and had to call me back. When she called me back she was very appologetic and said that if I had time they could be out later that day and said she would discount my quote. However, the discount she was willing to give me was for the same amount my quote was originally for! When the movers showed up they were from another moving company-A Better Move- and they were GREAT. However, when it came time to pay at the end of the move, they were never given the fixed quote that I had been given and were to charge whatever they would have quoted the move to be--and this is after I had been told that I would get a discount off my 'fixed' quote for the unprofessionalism! Luckily, the guys from A Better Move were great and said they would stick to what I had been quoted and eat the difference. The guys from A Better Move were great-friendly, professional, and very quick and efficient. I'll definitly use them for my next move. They made my first experience with movers go from horrible to great and I'll never move without assistance again! They made it sooo easy- Thanks guys!! You were great!! I found A Better Move on Citysearch and had them come out and give me a quote on my move last week. They arrived on time and did a full inventory of my home (at my request) to provide me an accurate quote. They were amazing! They walked from room to room and have me tips on how to properly pack & advise on what items would be easy for them to move since I planned on moving some things myself to help the cost. They worked VERY hard and efficiently ?doing everything from breaking down & putting back together beds to making sure I was happy with the placement of my furnishings in my new home. \r \r They were flexible in the fact that I?d told them about my 1st & most recent experience hiring movers which resulted in an INACCURATE quote that ended up costing me a few hundred more than I had been quoted and offered to come out and do an inventory quote so that I would have a SOLID number to go by and even put it in writing for me. They gave me their insurance info and even explained the different types of coverage to make sure that I was comparing ?apples to apples? when I obtained other quotes. There was no need! I was so impressed with them that I cancelled the appointment I had the following day to get another quote. They refused to allow me to tip them and said that writing a review here was the best ?tip? I could offer. So here ya go guys!
