Pushy sales people 8/20/2005

I like Best Buy because they have a great selection of electronics and because they have great prices. They also price-match, which is nice. My biggest peeve with this place, though, is their sales people. I feel like I am being hunted. The follow you around and pressure you to buy things, and when you do you are inundated with the "extended warranty" ploy. You should only have to say no once, but here you have to say it at least 15 times. more

Good selection and prices 7/31/2005

Best Buy is rated as just OK because while they have a good selection their help is a little immature and their business practices are poor. Don't bother buying a Best Buy warranty because if you take an item home and find that it does not work (yes this has happened 3 ties to me and 1 friend) and you return it within a couple of days of purchase you will not get a replacement, they will "try" to fix the item and make you wait for the repairs. S if you are lured by the selection and prices shop at Best Buy, but don't count on good service. more

rip off 7/31/2005

I don't like their high presser sales tatics. They are alway pushing the Warrenties on you. They just wont take no for an answer. I always left fealing upset and frustrated. If a product is so bad that it is imparative that i have a warrenty then I realy don't want that product. So i have starte to shop at circut city they do offer you the warrentys there but they don't push them on you. more
