that place you were looking for in walmart 2/28/2006

This is the electronics section of walmart. Walmart doesn't have one cause Best Buy has got it all packaged so sweet. Cheap cheap prices on cheap cheap junk. Good for people who end up paying for AOL, who use the computer for non-games/porn, who get viruses, and who end up spending hours on the phone with tech-guys cause nothing works and they're too dumb. If you know what you're lookin for and this place has it...buy it. If you don't know what you're lookin for...well...this place was built for you. A paradox it seems, but like if you could figure it out you'd have thought of it and be a millionaire then wouldn't you so just deal with it. more

Best Buy is probably your best buy 2/28/2006

I've gotten countless items from this place, they have it all and know all about it. I got my stereo equipment here, and I am a woman and had no idea about anything, and a cusomter service rep. talked with me for almost an hour about the different products they had and then even offered to install it for free. I don't think it gets any better than that. more

A cold Black Friday eve. 2/28/2006

Best Buy usually has the best prices on electronics. This past Black Friday, they topped themselves: each store would have a minumum of 10 laptops on sale for just 350$. That's unbeatable. A friend and I got there at 11PM to camp out the whole night and there were already about 10 people in front of us. It was craziness. By 5AM when the people (thankfully) came out to hand out vouchers for the big ticket items to make sure people who had waited the longest got what they came for (we got our laptops!) the line was about 800 people long. It was a freezing cold night, the coldest I can remember of this warm winter, but we got what we came for. more

Great for accessories 7/12/2005

Best buy is one of those stores where you can always count on a good value. Every sunday in the paper the new deals are advertised. Most items that have a deal come with rebates that actually work. Computer deals are not the best, but deals on all types of accessories including networking stuff and media (like CDRs) are very good. I would reccommend this store for computer accessories and everything except the actual comptuer or monitor. more
