Horrible Docter 10/12/2009

This docter was assigned to my little sister during her pregnancy, it took her until her third month to get an appointment. On the day of appointments she was either late, or a no show, on several occaisions she would either reschedule or cancel. On month number 7 my sister began to have complications, and Dr. Taylor sent her to the hospital becuase of her blood pressure. On that night she delivered through C section, as I waited outside of the surgery room, I could hear both Dr. Taylor and her partner in her practice cracking very rude and crude jokes about my sister, they were unaware that I could hear them outside. After the surgery was over I confronted her male counterpart about the comment he made, or course he denied making them, and said basicly said her complications were due to the fact that she missed appointments, when I confronted him about the appointments were not missed by her t that hey were rescheduled due to their inability to come to work and keep their appointments with their patients he denied those as well. Dr. Taylor tried to release my sister from the hospital 3 days after major surgery without even checking the status of her blood pressure, when I asked a nurse to check it again the nurse realized that her pressure was still very high and she was unable to be released...She was released from the hospital 2 weeks later due to the complicatins from the c section and her meds need to be adjusted. I am currently checking into legal actions to take against her and her practice. Cons: EVERYTHING more

Don't go to her. 7/8/2009

I had her as my doctor in 2008. My first day there was hard, due to me being scared and new at preganacy. I had to wait for over an hour just to get in the back room. Then she came in with a nurse and laughed at my questions. I guess she expected me to know more than I knew. It was really unprofessional. I was told I was already at 3 months and that I should have seen a doctor sooner. I waited those three months just to be seen by heard because I was told she was good. My friend was wrong. I dealt with her rude, none caring, and stuck up attitude for the rest of my pregnancy. When I had questions she was never around. When I went into labor she wasn't there because the nurses said she wasn't on call that night. I had to be treated by a man doctor I had never seen before. When the only reason I stuck with her was because I wanted a female doctor to help me have my baby. It was the worst experience of my life. I changed doctors as soon as I could Cons: Everything! more

The worst doctor ever... 7/8/2009

I was her patient throughout my pregnancy. I would come early to my appt and still had to wait a minimun of an hour. Setting in the waiting room you here stories about how bad she is. When i would get in the room, after waiting an hour, i would have to wait longer while the nurses laughed and talked with her. They had no professional staff. When it was time for me to have my baby she was no where to be found. I had complications throughout my pregnancy and she never returned a phone call. \r \r Please find someone else other than her, because if she is your doctor. You are in for the worst care and delivery ever. The doctors she works with are just as bad if not worse... Pros: Nothing good about her... Cons: Never available, always in a hurry, and rude... more

OB/GYN - Dr. Yolunda Taylor in Baton Rouge 8/18/2005

I had this doctor when I was pregnant with my son. At every prenatal appointment I had to wait at least 1 hour past my scheduled appointment time. And that was just to get a room! After that, I'd sit in the room waiting for her for about 15-20 minutes. When I was 35 weeks pregnant, she stripped my membranes without me knowing to help send me into labor. I had to go on bedrest for 4 weeks to stop the contractions. When I was in labor, she was out, which is understandable... but her co-worker who delivered my baby was rude and in a huge hurry, not to mention he insisted on delivering my son in an operating room even though I didn't need a c/section. I would not recommend this doctor. PROS: NONE! CONS: Too many to name! more
