Me and my family have been seeing Dr. Davenport for over ten years and I've recommended many coworkers to use GDA as well. They're all terrific, kind, and caring.

I found Gainesville Dental Associates through a collegue at work. I was very relieved after going to my first appointment as I felt I had finally found a dentist that really listened and reviewed all treatment options rather than just choosing one for me. I moved to the Northern VA area two years ago and was disheartened when the first dentist that I chose would drill a few fillings everytime I went for the six month cleaning. I decided I needed a second opinion as I had only had only needed two fillings my entire life prior to VA. After explaining the situation and having a few x-rays taken at my Gainesville Dental Associates visit, they informed me that the initial de-mineralizations I was experiencing may be treated with flouride and would not require immediate fillings. I felt like I was in good hands when they told me that they would monitor these areas throughout my future visits to make sure that they do not get any worse. I was relieved that they took the time to explain what was happening and that I had alternative options to immediate fillings! They were very kind and comforting! I would recommend them to anyone! more

Ive been going to Gainsville Dental for 5 years now. Ive had experience with many dentists and dental practices over the years, both inside the military and out. I also pull no punches in reviews like this. If you think i do, just look at the one for Dr Filippone. I tell you straight that Gainesville Dental is professional, personable, helpful and 'up to date proficient' with their service. I've never had a bad experience with any of them - from the front desk all the way up to the dentist him/herself. They do all the legwork for you as far as billing your insurance, etc. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and - as a guy i just have to say this - they have all the latest and greatest gear = some really cool stuff. oorah. more

Excellent hygenist and dentist 7/23/2010

I would highly recommend this office. They take tons of x-rays, but also take photos of the teeth so they get a thorough look around the mouth. The hygenist got out a stubborn stain on one of my teeth that had been there through two cleanings with my former hygenist! They gave some great advice about what I needed to do without being pushy. more
