I found Gainesville Dental Associates through a collegue at work. I was very relieved after going to my first appointment as I felt I had finally found a dentist that really listened and reviewed all treatment options rather than just choosing one for me. I moved to the Northern VA area two years ago and was disheartened when the first dentist that I chose would drill a few fillings everytime I went for the six month cleaning. I decided I needed a second opinion as I had only had only needed two fillings my entire life prior to VA. After explaining the situation and having a few x-rays taken at my Gainesville Dental Associates visit, they informed me that the initial de-mineralizations I was experiencing may be treated with flouride and would not require immediate fillings. I felt like I was in good hands when they told me that they would monitor these areas throughout my future visits to make sure that they do not get any worse. I was relieved that they took the time to explain what was happening and that I had alternative options to immediate fillings! They were very kind and comforting! I would recommend them to anyone!
