Sold me a package of ten treatments and then wouldn't let me use them. He stated that they were for recreational use only and since I was hurt in a car accident he wouldn't let me...

Sad but True 9/10/2011

He failed to notice my two broken ribs and his treatment made me worse. I paid him by purchasing a block of ten sessions but then he billed my insurance company eventhough I did not assign my benefits to him. In a three way conversation with State Farm, he agreed to return my insurance money. However, he did not. I complained to the BBB and he refused to respond. I complained to the Attorney General's office and there was no reply there either. more

Top doc and top staff!! 7/27/2010

For most of my life, I have been an athlete so I have been relentlessly looking for a doctor that was also an athlete. Doc Batchelor fits like a glove. He is an example of health, having won hundreds of running and bike races. He understands what I need and he knows how to take care of my problems. Dr. Batchelor knows his stuff. I highly recommend him 6/9/2010

I have worked as a waiter at Longhorn Steaks for the past 18 months. As a result of repeated lifting and carrying food with one side of my body, I began to develop neck and arm pain. My hand and finger would begin to tingle and sometimes I would wake up at night with an arm that had no feeling. I knew something had to be done. I called my buddy who went to Dr. Batchelor, a chiropractor in Roswell. The doctor worked on my neck and back for about 20 minutes and found the nerve that was being pinched in my neck that traveled into my arm and hand. He used a couple of physical therapy machines first before using chiropractic. After the treatment, I could turn my neck much further and without pain and I had no more tingling in my arm. The doctor gave me exercises that I had to do each day for my neck so that I could fix the muscle balance in my neck that had been caused by my waiter job. Dr. Batchelor said that the waiter job was the same thing as going to the fitness center every day and working out only one side of my body. Eventually it would catch up with me. It did. Now, as a result of the treatment, I do not wake up with a numb arm and I don't have anymore pain or tingling. I highly recommend Dr. Batchelor. He knows his stuff. Atlanta's best chiropractor without a doubt 6/9/2010

I have been a runner and golfer for many years. I am not sure if that is related to my pain but it probably is. The left side of my lower back and left knee had been hurting me for a long time and I was beginning to develop an actual limp. My friends would ask me about the limp almost everyday. I had pain but I did not notice the limp but they did. Two of them recommended that I go to Dr. Batchelor who is a chiropractor near my home in Roswell. I actually remember running the Roswell Road Race a long time ago and Dr. Batchelor had won it. I made the appoitnment and went in for treatment. Neck Pain and Headaches gone thanks to Dr. Dan 6/9/2010

After an auto accident last year, I developed headaches and neck pain that would not respond to drugs, massage, or muscle relaxants. I knew I needed something more so I called my sons football coach and he sent me to Dr. Batchelor who he uses for his athletes. After the doc treated me for about 15 minutes, my head started to clear up and I could feel relief of my neck pain. I am very lucky to have found Dr. Batchelor. Pros: Great doc with great results. Highly skilled and effective Doctor 6/9/2010

I have been a golfer for most of my life. Over 20 years ago I began to feel mild lower back pain. Over those years it has progressively gotten worse until it became a full blown pain that prevented me from playing golf. To sum it up, Dr. Batchelor diagnosed me with disc compression and after treating me 3x, my pain was gone. I have 2 other golf buddies that I sent to him as a result and they both were helped dramatically. Thanks to Dr Batchelor I was able to return to a sport that I love. Dr. Batchelor helped me when no one else could 6/9/2010

After having lower back pain for over 3 years and trying to get relief from all the local doctors, no one was able to help me. My sisters husband referred me to Dr. Batchelor and after 2 treatments, he was able to eliminate my pain. I was impressed and will refer others to Dr. Batchelor. TOLD ONE PRICE AT CHECK-IN, THEN CHARGED 4X ORIGINAL AMOUNT 5/19/2010

I came in for a chronic back problem and stated I would simply like an opinion toward working out a treatment plan. I was quoted a $40 copay and that was all. I spoke with Dr Batchelor and he examined me, then had me stand up next to an xray machine and proceeded to quickly take multiple xrays. I interrupted him after the first one to ask regarding the price, as I did not want to pay more than the $40 for the consult, and he said that he was aware of price constraints and he keeps everything VERY affordable, but refused to tell me a fixed price. All the while, he continued to quickly take xray after xray. When it was all done, he directed me to the receptionist who asked me for $165 instead of the original $40!!! Besides the fact that it is unethical to take 5 xrays of a persons pelvic region without first discussing the risk of exposing them to this much radiation (I do want to have kids in the near future and would rather them not have three heads!), he refused to stop and clarify price, even after I directly asked him about it. I asked to speak with Dr Batchelor at checkout, but was told he was already busy with another patient. I said I would wait and was told he would be a very long time but would call me later. After waiting hours, I finally called him - after I told him I felt misled, he said he had sent an email explaining everything (I never received one), and then said his pricing was fair, never admitting any wrong-doing. I will never see this unethical person again, and cannot recommend him to anyone. Pros: EASY APPOINTMENT Cons: OUT FOR YOUR $$$, UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES more

Dr. Batchelor is the best chiropractor I have found. 4/15/2010

I had been having back pain for several years as a result of my frequent golf outings with the boys. We would play 18 holes then stop by the 19th hole afterwards for some brewskies. On the 18th hole, I could hardly move because of my back pain but after the beer, I had no pain. By the time the beer wore off, however, I could hardly move again. The beer was my pain killer and muscle relaxant. Two of my golf buddies had similar problems in the past but now they use Dr. Batchelor, a local chiropractor. The told me about Dr. Batchelor so I called and made an appointment. Pros: Effective, PPO member, Location, $10copay, Experience, Nice Cons: Its all good!! more

Dr. Batchelor- professional and effective 11/9/2009

Outstanding chiropractor- I have been an MD working in North Fulton for the past 14 years. I was helped by Dr. Batchelor after the so called "Best in Atlanta" could not help me. After years of suffering from chronic neck and rib pain, Dr. Batchelor diagnosed cervical neuritis and intercostal neuralgia. He treated me with physical therapy combined with chiropractic and after 2 visits the nerve pressure was eliminated. My neck and rib feel perfect and I thank Dr. Batchelor for finding the cause and correcting it. I have certainly changed my ways of thinking when it comes to medicine and chiropractic. Outstanding chiropractor 11/3/2009

Dr. Batchelor is the most talented and effective doc I have been to. Chiropractic is an art form, some have it and some don't. Dr. Batchelor has perfected the art to go along with his knowledge. In the past it was difficult to find a doc that knew how to adjust my spine. Dr. Batchelor lays it on the line and gets it right every time. Since I have been going to chiropractors my entire life, I know when I see a great doc and Dr. Batchelor is definately a man with a god given special gift. Dr. Dan helped me when no one else could. 10/28/2009

I have been an athlete for most of my life so when I choose a doctor, I want him to also be an athlete. Dr. Dan is an endurance athlete with hundreds of first place finishes under his belt. I have seen him at dozens of races over the years but I never thought I would need his services until recently. I was running the 10 mile loop at Kennesaw mountain when I tripped gong downhill and injured my lower back. Pain began radiating down both of my legs. I thought I had broken something. Well, it was time to call Dr. Dan. He was able to get me out of pain in 2 days. After that he put me on an exercise program to rehab. my back so that it would not give me problems in the future. It worked and I continue to be pain free. Thanks to Dr. Dan I did not lose any of my fitness that it took me so long to gain. Instead of going to an overweight smoker, drinker doc like I did 3 years ago, why not seek out the services of a doctor that practices what he preaches. Dr. Dan is the best doc!!! Best doc in Georgia 10/5/2009

I have been to many chiropractors in my day since I have lived in many areas of the country. Dr. Batchelor is by far the best I have been to. I might have to move to Houston in 4 months from now. Excellent Result 10/3/2009

I was treated by Dr. Batchelor a few weeks ago for injuries I suffered from as a result of crashing on my mountain bike and injuring my elbow and lower back. I love to mountain bike and even though it is dangerous, the benefits definitely outweigh the detriments. Among other things, biking allows me to burn calories so that I can eat as much as my boyfriend without getting fat. more

Outstanding chiropractor 10/2/2009

I went to Dr. Batchelor because he was referred to me by my college wrestling coach. Dr. Batchelor is an endurance athlete with lots of experience treating athletes and he also treats my coach. It took Dr Dan less than 30 minutes to fix the pain i had in my right lower back. The pain was there for over 5 months. He used therapy, traction and adjustments and poof, the pain was gone. Amazing.
