Unique and charming children's book store 9/2/2005

You will not find "Goodnight Moon" or "Winnie the Pooh" at Barefoot Books. Not even Harry Potter lives on their shelves. Enter with an open mind and you'll be impressed. The books they do have are beautiful, each with incredible artwork and charming stories. A really pleasant and welcoming shop to visit. more

Barefoot Books - very fun for kids 8/17/2005

My daughter loves going to Barefoot Books - great books (it is also a publisher, so they won't be your old favorites, but will become new ones), snacks, fun spaces for kids to read. They also have many weekly storytimes (Friday and Saturday mornings, and some Sunday and Wednesday afternoons.) The salespeople are also very helpful. more
