I just moved into Villa Siena (which is across the street from Bare tans location) from HB and was looking for a salon close to my new place.

Great place to tan 3/15/2011

My husband and I have been customers for years and this is a great place to get a great tan, whether it be via tanning bed or spray tan. The tanning beds are always clean and rooms are neat and tidy. Bare Tan offers different "grades" of tanning beds, depending on your budget and quality of tan you are looking for. We always opt for the 12-minute beds and you get FABULOUS color that lasts, so we only have to go once a week to keep great color all-year long. The staff is friendly and service is consistent. And last, but not least, you can't top their hours of operation...6am til midnight?! more

Posting that Rivirea Tan on Mcarthur closed its doors 1/21/2011

Just posting news that Riviera Tan that had great equipment and a beautiful interior unfortunately closed its doors on Saturday after about 7 years. For those of you who didnt work or live in the area Riviera Tan was located near the corner of Mccarthur and Bristol at the back of a huge apartment complex which had dry cleaners quiznos, Riviera Tan and many other tenants at the front of the complex. thought Riviera would be there for ever. I would like to wish the Owners good luck in their future plans.I Think other press outlets would be better to let all their clents know that Riviera is closed.but maybe a handful of tanners wont waste their time looking for a salon that is closedand gone after reading this. The place to Tan 11/14/2009

Been going to Baretan for years. Staff are always so pleasant and make me feel welcome. Tanning deals when they offer them are always so $$ savings, you gotto be nuts not to take advantage especially since they dont expire. They seem to keep their equipment current and well maintained. Been going to Bare Tan since 2004 10/14/2009

I have purchased a couple of minutes packages from them and have been nothing but pleased. They have been great to me. I plan to go there to get a Mystic when I can fit it into my budget. I still UV tan but not as much, and the great thing about BT is that I know my minutes will be there when I want them. more

I wanted a tan before going on vacation and bare tan was perfect. They advised me on what bed would be best for me . I got a gorgeous tan before i left and i'll be back to keep it up!! Pros: hours, customer service more

No.1?? Yeah right! 4/10/2009

I tanned there for about 2 years and saw a large insect in one of the rooms. I don't think the beds are cleaned very well and recently, they turned off the air or something because it was so hot every time i went in. I tried the airbrush a couple times but it came out orange and blotchy. i liked the beds but after the insect thing i dont want to go back. Pros: open late Cons: Gross more

WASTE OF MONEY 2/12/2009

When I moved to Irvine, this was the closest tanning salon. I paid for expensive tanning packages here and had NO results. The tanning beds look legit, but the bulbs are ALWAYS weak. EVERY time I went I asked for a bed with new bulbs and they always seemed to have one for me. "We just changed them!" And NOTHING. NO results. Dont waste your money here. Try ONE tan and go elsewhere. You will never want to go back, because it's a waste of time! Don't take my word for it though, you WILL walk out wondering why you don't look any different. Bare Tan is the best tanning salon I've ever been to. First of all, it's beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Prices are great too! I highly reccomend this salon. more

The Airbrush was the best Airbrush i have ever had. 10/16/2008

I had a wedding to go to on Saturday , and i was pasty white.A friend of mine commented she had a great looking Airbrush a while ago at this Tanning Salon called Bare Tan in Irvine,CA. I pretty much didn't have a choice so i called Bare Tan, and i was available to get an airbrush appointment at 11 pm at night. I can't believe this Salon closes at Midnight. To cut a long story short, the airbrush took about 20 min, and i had a instant beautiful tan.The color looked amazingly natural, and i even received many compliments the next day at the wedding. I would definetely reccomend Bare Tan Salon in Irvine,ca for an airbrush. Pros: excellent airbrush,friendly staff,great hours Cons: Hard to get an appointment more

Best Tanning Salon I've ever Been to 5/21/2007

Ok so this was the BEST tanning salon i have ever stepped foot in. You walk in and theres great music playing, gorgeous people walking in and out and in the waiting area, and a waterfall inside the salon! Felt like a club in LA! The service was nice and there were so many rooms!!! It was so clean and the best absolute BEST is that the salon is open until MIDNIGHT!!!! I recommend this salon to any tanning fanatic such as myself. Pros: ambience, rooms, service, quality beds, hours Cons: parking lot more

i do the beds, but i decided to try their airbrush tan. It took about 30 min and i loved the results.(i liked it better than Mystic Tan). I'll still do the beds but when i have a big event i will do an airbrush the day before. more

Beware of treatment 5/2/2007

I have to agree with a previous reviewer who complained about not receving satisfactory service after she told an employee she would be leaving. I had the very same experience years ago when I tanned there, so this kind of treatment is not "new policy." It's deplorable really ...... Pros: Upscale machines Cons: Service more

I really like this OC Tanning Salon 12/12/2006

Everything is so clean. I am use to tanning in 20 minute beds without any facial tanners. All there beds have facial tanners which i had not used before. when i signed up on a small package on their 20 minute beds i got a free upgrade to their Silver Bullet bed which was awesome.
