Baoz Dumplings

These are THE choice for dumplings for lunch downtown. Forget about Doozo and their nazi-ness. Bao-Z will blow you away! The flavors are fantasitic, they have lots of other items on the menu to choose from: eggrolls, scallion pancakes, soups, and much more! The eggrolls are always the perfect crispiness; a perfect compliment to their perfect dumplings! Their ice for soft drinks is almost like a slushie!!! The prices are certainly some of the best in downtown lunch options. If you've walked by this place before, you better stop next time! You won't be disappointed with the food, you'll only be disappointed that you didn't try it sooner!! The service was fast and friendly. I loved the atmosphere. This place speaks volumes about the diversity and historical background of what makes Houston such a great city. I definetely recommend the dumplings. They were supple and delicious. I cannot rate this place high enough. I wish there were 100 stars that I could give this place. This place is a great lunch spot. I love their cold noodles, great for a hot afternoon. Everything is so fresh and delicious, I always make it a point to stop in when I'm in the neighborhood. My girlfriend showed me this place and now everywhere I try dumplings they can't compare to Baoz. They are so good and fresh. 15 dumplings, 1 eggroll, 1 drink, and 1 soup for $7.50?!?! You can't go wrong. Its a great place for lunch they are so quick and friendly. I wish this place was open at night or had another location at least. Pros: Great dumplings, good price, quick place for lunch. Cons: Only in the tunnels,only open during the weekday for lunch. more
