Best thai food in the world! I have to eat thai food at least once a week and I've never had a bad experience with this restaurant. The staff is always friendly and polite. I'm a vegetarian and this is the one restaurant I haven't gotten any surprise meat in my entree. I'm also a dietitian and they have some very heart healthy choices such as the wild wild wild curry. :)yum more

Good Yum Woon Sen 8/14/2008

I have had pretty decent yum woon sen in the past from my local Iowan Thai place. However, this place proved that the dish could be taken to a whole new level! There were so many goodies packed into this dish I could barely lift a forkful of glass noodles without fishing up a scallop, tomato, cabbage, meat, prawn, squid or peanut. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves good yum woon sen. However, the other thing that I had there (chicken tom yum) was not very good. Perhaps it was the choice of meat that I chose to go with it that made it bland in taste. Pros: Yum Woon Sen! Cons: Tom yum soup more

Eh 1/24/2008

I had been wanting to try this place for a while since it always seemed like there was a crowd in there. Now I know why - it's a lot of food cheap, which is great for the local college kids on a budget. However it didn't make up for the blandness of the food. I had the yellow curry chicken, and my husband ordered some fried chicken thing which sounded like something more than what it was - beer battered chicken nuggets with two bland dipping sauces. The service was also pretty awful - there was one waiter for the whole place who was easily distracted, while the person who appeared to be the owner sat on his butt and barked orders at him. What really bothered me though was the weird smell I noticed coming from the kitchen (which we were seated next to, which is fine) and it didn't go away. I was then completely turned off when I happened to see one of the ""chefs"" cough into their hand and proceed to touch and fill takeaway containers without washing (if we hadn't already eaten I would have left at that point). I won't be going back here and will definitely be trying the other thai places around. Pros: Good for cheap eats if you don't care about quality Cons: food was okay, service was awful, unsanitary more

Yummy! 11/26/2007

I'm not a Thai expert, but I've tried several places and they have my favorite drunken noodles. Cute, but casual date place. Also, take out is excellent (really great containers to store food in that you can reuse many times). Service is very good, water will stay full! Highly recommended. Pros: Good location, great drunken noodles, take out/delivery Cons: Haven't found any yet! more

Very good food, great value 1/29/2006

I'm very glad that after nine years of living and going to school around Cleveland Circle and finding very little in the way of great food, I finally gave Bangkok Bistro a try. I'm no Thai expert so I can't comment on how ""authentic"" it is, but I'd think only a total snob could complain about the value. The menu is large and varied, the food is extremely tasty, the portions are big and best of all for students in the area, the prices are down right cheap (lunch: $6-$7 specials/dinner: appetizers from $5-$6 and most entrees under $10). The service is very polite and the atmosphere, while nothing special, is great for either groups or a quiet dinner for two. And they deliver too!Anyone who's tired of the same old sandwiches and pasta at Cityside and Roggies shouldn't hesitate to give Bangkok a try. Pros: Great food, Fair prices, Parking Cons: Beer list-very small more

good cheap thai food in c.circle 1/21/2006

for a cheap dinner-movie date, head to bangkok and then flick across the st. lots of americanized thai dishes to choose from, low prices, decent quality. Pros: price, selection Cons: atmosphere more

Maybe the best Thai food in Boston??? If you like spicy, try their One Night in Bangkok dish! Pros: food, value more

Awesome Food 7/11/2003

I've taken food out from the resturant countless times and have never had a bad experience. I have yet to find better drunken noodles in the Boston area. Great selection of appetizers and entrees. Everything I've had has been excellent! I've eaten in the resturant itself a few times and the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but all in all, always a great experience. Pros: FOOD, Appetizers Cons: Atmosphere more

Hmmm, could be better 9/4/2002

I was expecting something a step above ordinary given the great reviews. The food here is certainly decent--but not at all extraordinary. The Thai cuisine snob in me asks: Do Bostonians know their Thai food? .......... Also not that great of a value. This isn't meant to be a bash, just a warning not to be led astray by those weirdly high ratings! Pros: good, non-obsequious, service Cons: mediocre food, not a good deal more

Great Thai Take Out 7/16/2002

This place serve good variety of Thai food, some are authentic (""1 nite in bangkok"", spicy crispy pork stir fried, ""pad see-ew"", ""rad-nar"") and some are americanized (the appertizer, chicken basil) . Still, this place is great for good thai dinner and lunch. I prefer takeout from here b/c atmostphere is a bit cold and smell (from cooking, the kitchen is open into the main seating area). Noodle dishes are great here (imperial noodle). Good value, good taste, good service thai food. Pros: Good service, Good food, Good value Cons: Smell frm kitchen, Limited parking, Some fake thai dish more
