THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I REGRET SPENDING MY HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM ONLY TO BE PROVIDED A LESS THAN FULL GLASS FIRE PIT AND NOW STUCK WITH THE DAMAGES CAUSED DUE TO LACK OF GLASS IN THE PIT --- TARNISH AND WEATHER DAMAGE. . \r

I purchase a custom glass filled fire pit from Backyard Creations 7475 Clairemont Mesa, Blvd #400, San Diego, CA 92111 it was delivered the second week of November. Upon delivery we contacted Backyard Creations, sales person Jesus, regarding the quantity of brown glass filling being less than required for the size of the pit. Because there was not enough glass fill, the fire ring is exposed and now after numerous weeks has become tarnished due to exposure. I withheld a portion of the total balance to begin-with in order to ensure I received enough glass fill for my custom fire pit. I release the final balance when they told me they were delivering the extra glass, but upon arrival the glass was clear, not brown to match existing glass and was not enough additional material to cover the exposed fire ring. I added the clear glass to the pit in order to prevent as much damage/tarnish as possible before additional 2 bags of brown glass that Jesus promised was being shipped directly to me. Now that they have received the balance in-full they are no longer answering or returning my calls, after numerous weeks since the clear glass was brought to me and still insufficient to cover the fire ring, it would seem that they have no intention of providing me with enough glass to fill the custom fire pit I purchased from them. Due to Backyard Creations inability to provide enough brown glass to cover the fire ring, it remains exposed to the elements and continues to accumulate tarnish.In addition to the issues with the product I paid in cash for two payments and they only provided me with a hand written receipt for the first transaction of $4,000, the second transaction of $5,500 cash they did not provide me with a receipt.
