Avoid a headache/reprehensible ordeal 12/29/2011

I went there a few years ago. They took over a month to finish my car and I discovered that this place had put me in harm's danger. They used TWIST TIES (I have pics) to ""secure"" important parts. They said they used newer parts, but I learned they used old parts (fyi: one of them, transmission, I had to replace again in 7/10-so much for quality work). I do not trust this place. If you want other's experience, then please refer to other the other reviewers for additional detailed information. I am clearly not alone; these people gave them 1 star too! If I could give them no stars, then I opt for ZERO. They were also very rude and lacked professional customer service skills. Want to avoid ubiquitous headaches? Go elsewhere. more

Hideous Experience 1/2/2008

Recently had the misfortune of doing business with this company when they performed a police tow for Orland Park Police. Tow was at 7:30 PM on 12/30. Place was already closed, so we couldn't claim the car that night. Then, Auto Medics was closed 12/31 and 1/1 for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. We were charged for all 3 days, even though we couldn't pick up the car ONLY because they chose to be closed. If the company tows 24 hours for the police, then they should be open to claim the vehicle 24 hours. Not this joint: regular business hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday. Hope you don't need to get your vehicle on Saturday, because this place is only open 10 AM - 12 noon. What's the point of opening at all??? more
