We took our car in for repair, All seemed OK until we paid. They double swiped our debit card for the amount owed 469.00. on a Friday. I notified them Monday morning of the double charge. Tuesday morning@ 9:15 I was told that my account would be credited with in 4 to 6 hours. I check the account @ 4:00 PM and the account had not been credited at that time. I called Aurora Collision, they said they would call their bank and let me know. I want you to know this was the owner I was talking to. This is not acceptable, very poor customer service. I want to mention I am an Assistant Vice President of Operations of a local Bank and this customer service is not acceptable. I will be taking my auto body service to Moores Auto Body on north aurora.? It is now Wednesday evening and no refund. more

My girl friend was involved in a minor fender bender caused by someone pulling out in front of her. Aurora took 3 WEEKS to fix a front bumper! Not only did they keep the car they bothered to inform me that she could drive the car instead of paying for a rental while we wait for the parts. I constantly called for updates and I was always told the same thing, "Someone will call you between 12 and 3" and nobody ever did. I too had an unfortunate accident recently (on I-5 - ugh), and was forced to have some body work repair done on my car. My insurance company (USAA) pointed me to Aurora Collision, which was conveniently located near where I lived. I initially was somewhat skeptical of the shop, having read mixed reviews here and elsewhere online. But I was pretty impressed with how efficient their front desk staff were, and how thorough and responsive their estimators and mechanics were on my car (a BMW). Although I had to give up my car for a few weeks, the wait was largely due to the wait for parts. The estimators were very clear with what work they needed to do, and how they'd approach it. Nice touch to have the car thoroughly cleaned by their detail shop after pick up. When I brought the car back in for some further work that was needed (a part ultimately was still not working), they promptly scheduled me for a quick repair and got it done to my satisfaction. Plus, another car detail! ;-) In the end, I came away very impressed with Aurora Collision, and I'd highly recommend them in the case you have to have some body work or repairs done on your car. more

They were terrible, took way too long, and were extremely rude. I didn't have my car for over a month for miniscule damage. I also had to have it repainted 3 times. The last time, I requested that they get me a rental car while I wait for it. For some reason, what took them 2 weeks each time I took my car in, took them three days. I would never even consider going there again. more

My car was unfortunately in an accident (parked on Madison, I wasn't even in the car at the time) and I was directed by the insurance company that this was an approved place to go and was the closest to me. Since they were paying, I hoped that this was also a good place to get work done, but I had no idea. I was also upset that I had to go through all sorts of hoops for something that wasn't my fault, but aurora collison made it super easy to deal with and even got me the rental car right there. In the end, they did a great job on my car and they made the process super easy to deal with. I was very happy overall. There seemed to be a lot of people there everytime that I was there, so I assume it has a good reputation. more
