Great Place 2/6/2011

I've taken my lab here for as long as we've had her, since she was a 6 week old pup. They have been professional, friendly, and prompt. I've never had any problems, and they are well priced. They spayed my dog and I didn't have any problems. They were able to give great recommendations for a kennel for the holidays, a time when most kennels were full. My dog is a huge dog, 65 lbs. at 6 months, and they are great with her. Granted, she is a bull in a china shop, so of course it's a hassle and probably a bit annoying to try to contain my dog while at their office, but they are always professional and friendly. Great place! more

Great place for dogs of ALL sizes! 10/3/2010

Wow...I am surprised by the posting from CooperD about not taking a big dog there. I have 2 dogs that I take there. Both dogs are big, and 1 is a German Sheperd. Both have received excellent care. I don't know what CooperD's experience was, except obviously it was bad for them or their dog. They must have caught the vet on a very bad or busy day. Maybe Cooper should have looked at the walls in Audobon Vet clinic...he would have noticed all of the pictures from the Spokane Police Department with their German Shepherds. The place where I board my dogs is a retriever dog trainer, and he takes his dogs there as well. I would recommend Audobon to everyone. It is where I have taken all of our pets for the past 8 years and we have always had great service. VCA is not a bad place either. We had to take 2 reptiles there....but you are more of a ""number"" at VCA than you are a client due to the high volume of patients VCA handles. Audobon has more of a small town feel to it than VCA. more

Please don't take a big dog here 8/16/2010

I brought my German Sheperd to the vet at Audubon. Yes, my dog was barking. At no time did he snap or lung at the vet, or make any attempt to bite. His tail was wagging the entire time.\r The vet came into the room with a huge chip on his shoulder. He was rude to me and my son, and nasty to the dog. As my son pointed out, interesting career choice to be a vet and treat animals with such disrespect and disregard.\r We later took our dog to Dr Berry at VCA North Division and had an outstanding experience with a vet that was able to understand that the dog was afraid.\r Thanks for reading my review. more

Great Place! 4/10/2010

My family has taken our pet to Audubon for years. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to get to know each pet. Advice given by the vets is always appropriate - they never force procedures just to get the money. more
