Great work, Great price, Great service 1/26/2011

I took my car to Auburn Foreign Car when I had issues with my alternator. I'm not at all a car person and they really took care of me and explained everything clearly. Talking to a few friends of mine later who are car people, they said that I got a good deal on the service, too. I highly recommend Auburn Foreign Car. more

Outstanding service 12/13/2010

Two thumbs up??! Nearly half-a-million miles logged on my two vehicles and both have run perfectly under the care of Auburn Foreign Car. Latest visit in my 13+ year affiliation with these folks was last week. I was impressed once again with their attention to detail, clear and thorough communication, and outstanding diagnostic and repair work. Over the years, I have never once needed a second opinion, a re-do by somebody else, or a course in anger management after dealing with this outfit. I figure that if I am shelling out my hard-earned cash, a merchant had better deserve to have it. AFC deserves to have it. more

*****OUTSTANDING SERVICE-PRICE-WORK!!!***** 11/18/2010

We had gone to another shop to have our transmission repaired. We were quoted one price and then they did a bait and switch and bumped up the cost $600.00 more than the original quote. Then I called Auburn Foreign Car and they did the job for the price they quoted (which was far below the price of the original quote from the first shop). They kept great communication throughout the entire job and repaired the transmission to better than new. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. They did a great job, had a great price, and had outstanding customer service! more

Auburn Foreign & Domestic Car is the best, most reliable, honest and affordable place to take your vehicle!!! My family and I have been loyal customers since we moved to Auburn in 1995. When we moved here, we wanted to establish a connection with an auto repair shop that could service all of our vehicles. Not only did we find a clean, organized, friendly place, but we have developed friendships with the owners and all the people that work there. There is nothing that they can't fix. They are always looking out for you and the needs and safety of your vehicle, whether now or in the future. They always call with estimates on the repairs and are very accomodating on getting your car in for service within a day or two. One of the little things that drew me to Auburn Foreign Car, was that everytime I brought my car in for service no matter how large or how small, they washed and vacuumed it before I took it home. The only place we will take our cars.?? 11/2/2010

Having had issues at both dealerships and private shops in the past, we were looking for a fair and reliable place to take our vehicles. After our first experience at Auburn Foreign Car, we realized that they were open and thorough with everything that they do. They tell us both the "what needs to be done right away" as well as the things that can wait. We now take all three of our vehicles to them and don't trust anyone else as much as we trust them to do the right thing. more

They are happy to give you the list of "what should be done now and what you can safely wait on." And management is right there to assist you with anything you might need. We have had the pleasure to be helped by many of the same friendly faces from day one. And every diagnosis is one you can trust. My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Auburn Foreign Car for years since we moved to this area. We won't let anyone even change our oil except the service technicians. The customer service is exemplary, the personnel are amiable and very polite and professional, and the owner, Greg Hochhalter will make all efforts possible to communicate with you about your car and suggest the best ways to fix it. I feel they are very honest and competent people. I am always recommending their business to other people.\r We have a Honda Civic and and Acura and take very good care of our cars. When I had a particularly difficult problem with my Acura, Greg and his staff took a lot of time to research, diagnose, and repair problems.\r The business is so organized and exceptionally clean.\r This business is ASE-certified and AAA approved.
