Have been to several Au Bon Pains throughout Philadelphia. There is no star in the bunch. Most recent visit was to the TJU location (which is not in Citysearch yet). Bought an egg sandwich on a bagel; the egg was like rubber and even smelled a little old, while the bagel was soggy and greasy from the cheese. The coffee I've had in each location was about the same...luke warm and not great tasting. They put out a fresh vat of coffee this morning (TJU location again) and it was somehow still only lukewarm, and the iced coffee I've had at several locations is regularly lukewarm. So, if Au Bon Pain is the only thing around you, it might be okay. If you have other options, explore them. Au Bon Pain is also fairly pricey for what you get, which adds to the level of frustration.
