Ashburn Family Practice

The front office staff is very rude - especially on the phone but not a lot better in person. They act like they're being inconvenienced whenever you call or go into the office to see your doctor. If it's that terrible of a job, maybe getting another one would be better for them. Another thing, if you call and choose the option to speak with a physician, you always get the rude front desk staff - never a doctor - so not sure why they even offer that option. The last time I called, I was put on hold 3 different times. If it wouldn't had been for needing to get through to the doctor right away, I would have hung up. I go to this office because I love the PA there and was seeing her at another office before she came to this one. If it wasn't for her, I definitely would not be using this office because of the rude, unprofessional front desk staff. more

They have brand new staff and they let go the past office manager. They are really on top of it and the new staff really are great. Yes they do have 2 offices but I have NEVER had any appointment problems. I have had to wait but remember you are seeing the owner of the practice and they only have a PA one day a week. I have never been to an office where I get to ALWAYS see MY dr. I think you will love this place. Its very convenient and there staff is wonderful! more

Because of its convenient location, I have given Ashburn Family Practice a number of chances to redeem itself. However, almost every expereince I have had there has left me bitter! To name a few, I was given the wrong dosage on a perscription, which I caught, but the receptionist insisted I didnt' understand the doctors' orders, making me feel stupid, when indeed, after checking with the pharmacist and the doctor, I was correct about. Another time, an appointment was made at the wrong office, so when I showed up, they were unable to see me. And twice, they have not had referrals ready for me when they said they would. Despite an empty waiting room, I always have to wait at least a half an hour for my appointment. The support staff is not particularly friendly--- which you would expect in a customer-relations kind of position. I am routinely disappointed with this office, and do not recommend. more
