Master Preston's initial sales tactics are worse than what you would find at a used car lot. However, our kids liked the classes in the beginning, so we decided to move forward. Once you sign up you are locked in to a non-cancellable 12 month contract. Of course, this is not explained to you. If you try to cancel you will be ignored and referred to a billing agency, which will inform you that you must pay or your account will be turned over to collections. This is pure greed and it is sad to see a business that promotes respect and integrity operate like this. Additionally, once you are in you will be sucked into paying more money for each belt, even if your child isn't ready to move on. Buyer beware & find another studio for your kids. more

The master signed us up making promises of teaching several classes and putting individual attention into our child...instead he probably taught one class the whole time and verbally abused my child as well as the others. I am in shock that he is still in business. He was very moody and it was like walking on eggshells around him...he also tried getting us to sign up with some internet business that he is doing where we would have to put money down...this does not sound professional and not healthy for a child to be treated like such. more

The "Chief Master Instructor" of this school is not in control of his temper and takes it out on his students. I would not recommend this school. There are plenty of other schools that are capable of teaching martial arts without the abuse. I cannot speak for the two franchise schools as I do not know these instructors. more
