A Great place to get ripped off 9/16/2011

I just recently took my pet cat in to the Arizona Animal Clinic. I was given an estimate regarding the charges that I would be billed for. Upon returning to pick up my cat the charges were quite a bit more than on the estimate. When I questioned the charges I was advised the vet had neglected to add several charges onto the original estimate and that I had to pay the newer cost. When i questioned this with a manager his reaction was to walk away and mutter something under his breath. I questioned what he said he just continued to walk away. In my opinion not a very reputable company at all. I would strongly recomend NOT going to this Clinic. more

rude..unhelpful..all about the money 8/9/2010

for a couple of years we had taken our pets to this clinic. We had one time thing where there true nature came out. We went there and was told that there was nothing they could do for our pet. As I was leaving (without even seeing a vet) they told me that I still owed for the visit even though no one even looked at my pet. I left without paying and they sent my account to collections.. I then got a letter saying that they had dropped the charges(which I feel should have been done in the first place. After a couple of years I tried to make an appointment again for a new puppy(we live across the street) I was rudy told to take my business else where.. that place is all about the money.. rude staff and very unprofessional... more

Best Veterinarian in Chandler 8/18/2009

I had recently took two of my dogs to get fixed at Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic. I used my Maricopa County Big Fix Voucher for both animals. Az Ave Animal Clinic is one of the only animal clinics in Chandler that accept the voucher. The surgery was completely free and I was still able to see a Dr. before the procedure. She was very caring and up front about what was best for my two puppies, and was very straight forward about all the financial costs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even called to check on both my labs the day after surgery. I highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Kristi is now my permanent veterinarian. more

Great Groomig 9/24/2006

I have been getting my dogs hair groomed here for the past year or so. The Groomer I use, Joanne, knows what she is doing, and always knows which cut I want. I have only boarded my dog there twice and both times I got him discharge baths. When I picked him up he smelled better than how I left him. The indoor boarding facility is nice to have, especially during the summer heat. more

Scary 8/4/2005

We boarded our dog at the Arizona Avenue Animal Clinic for a week during a family emergency. I would never leave any animal there again. It smelled horrible, the staff was unfriendly and cold and our dog was scared to death. They charged us for a multitude of shots the dog did not need, and I got the feeling that she was rarely let out of the kennel cage during the entire week. The poor dogs in back were howling and barking and my imagination pictured the worst. more
