They are quick to tow and it is all about the MONEY I live in a condo in Virginia Beach and there are no parking signs. My daughter was parked 3/4 quarters in the driveway and 1/4 on the street. Her car was RUNNING, she had put her purse and baby's diaper bag in the car, ran in the house to get the baby and when she came out with the baby, you guessed it, the car was gone. She call the police because she thought it had been stolen. Mind you, she was on her way to church. They actually towed her car while it was running. When she call the company stated where the car was and that it was running, it was like talking to a alien, all they said that it shouldn't have been in a fire lane, which it was not. iI was in front of my driveway and only partially in the street. They said she could get the car withing minutes, this happened at 10:06 on Sunday morning. My daughter got a ride to church and at 12 noon she called the company to let them know she was on her way to get the car. What was suppose to be minutes ended up be an entire afternoon wasted. She arrived at Aristocrat around 12:15 and didn't leave until 5:30. Can you imagine being there with a baby that long with people that act like robots? It was a horrific experience & those people that didn't even care. When she drove the car of the lot, it starting smoking like she was the mosquito man; she was afraid to drive it home and call AAA to have it towed. After call thing Aristocrat back complaining about the possible damage to her car because of it being towed while running, they said that was impossible for them to have caused any damage and hung up on her. There should be better laws for companies like that; that only care about taking people's hard earned money.
