I don't understand the negative reviews? I think there are some people who are just never happy! I have been a client at Aria for many years and never had a negative experience. I have been to many salons Aria ranks top on my list! more

Screwed my up big time with appointments. Never again. Also no tip on CC and no amex, why not say so when booking so client can be prepared. NEVER AGAIN I care about accurate bookings and time of appointment. I value my time. I don't want to wait 2 hours for a manicure/pedicure because they can't be bothered to tell you that they are down to one manicurist when you book. more

I thought that place was pretty good and I would potentially go there again- but probably not. I have had better and found it to be a little chilly, not as relaxing as other spas, and my skin is still super dry after having the body wrap. There is easy parking, it was relatively easy to find an appointment time, and the people were somewhat nice. Pros: Resonable Price, Good Service, Nice Enough People more

I had to write due to the one negative comment out here. If you want a Boston spa/salon experience at a reasonable price, go to Aria. I decided about 6 + years ago to switch from a N. End hairdresser to Aria and never regretted it. First, it is clean and open and airy. Very updated. It has a wonderful view and a lot less hassle than going in to town, trying to find parking and what's better after getting pretty than hitting one of the restaurants at Marina Bay. I have found the spa area, clean, serene and well maintained. The pipe relaxing music in and it's very quiet from the rest of the salon. My haircut is always done well and the color is fantastic. I honestly get compliments all the time on my hair and cut/color and I tell them where I go. It's not cheap but certainly not expensive. I try to go when they open so I think the one person may have gone during the day when it is very quiet. Most people work and I would argue if you went in to any salon early, they would be the same way. I've been a customer for so long, I've seen it crazy at night and I've been the one of 3 people in the early afternoon. If you want a great cut, color and spa experience right outside of Boston, with friendly, experienced professionals, then go to Aria, you won't be disappointed and I'm glad to see when a mistake is made, they try and make it right - other salons would not be so accomadating. Stephanie, the hairstylist who I saw was not experience and gave me a haircut that wasn't even. One side was short, one side long. It was such an awful experience. I was overpriced for a haircut that ended up needing fix up at an other salon which fixed the problem that Stephanie made in the first place. I would never go to Aria. The place is not even friendly, the girl at the desk is so not friendly. They didn't even offer to fix my hair cut but charged me $55 for haircut that was uneven. To top it off they let me go with hair that was dripping wet. What a service for Marina Bay? Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

Went to my usual salon on Newbury st. and the color they used on my hair was horrible. They offered to fix it and made it worse! A friend suggested Aria Salon&Spa. They made my hair look beautiful! My 1st visit to Aria was so great that I had to make sure I made an appointment for my birthday and I made it about a month and half before my birth date. The massage I received was so great, I talked about it for weeks, hey I am still talking about. I highly recommend Aria, you won't reget it. Pros: The location, the price, the staff and atmosphere. I had received a gift certificate for a day of beauty which was most appreciated given I was seven months pregnant. The mani and pedi were (as always) fantastic but the pregnancy massage was quite possibly the worst massage I have ever had. Aria does not have the proper equipment or training to give pregnancy massages and should not offer them again until they update their staff and facilities. I called Aria late Wednesday night almost in tears because my regular stylist RUINED my hair. The color was horrendous and I was so desperate that I had to use a box color to cover it. I got a call from Aria first thing in the morning and we set up an appointment. Well, I just got back from my appointment with Toni and I absolutely LOVE my hair! She listened to what I wanted and went straight to work knowing exactly what to do. My highlights and hair came out beautiful and I have her to thank.
